Weruva Wx Phos Focused Freeze Dried, Chicken Breast & Tilapia Formula, 1oz Bag

Finally a low phosphorus freeze dried cat food option for my older cat with kidney disease. He loves the wx wet food and now loves these freeze dried bits. I feed them as a snack and he eats them right up!

Inedible to my cat

We have 5 cats and not one of them will eat it. I mixed it with filtered water to make a wet food, let it sit a few minutes and then stirred it to make a smooth texture. It smells like fresh cooked chicken but my furballs wouldn't eat it, just sniffed it and walked away. Two of my cats were strays that lived outside a long time, I thought for sure they would eat it but they turned up their noses too. So, not so much a bad product as my cats are just spoiled. Two of them don't like canned food at all so that may also be the issue. The chuncks are cubed which are a nice size but it's of course dry which is why I think adding water would make it more palatable. Seems to be good quality, like I said it does smell like fresh cooked chicken.

My cat loves this freeze dried food and I like that it is fully cooked. Great stuff!

My cat seems to like this food, but the lack of stars is for the package size, which was like the size of a typical treat bag... Not sure if I would get the bigger one or not.

My cat is diabetic (but has been in remission for a year now). I haven’t been able to find any low carb treats that he can have, until these. He used to like the weruva wx chicken in gravy canned food, but then he got sick of it. He got to the point where he’d only lick all the gravy up and leave the actual food. That’s what tempted me to try these. Thankfully he loves them! I’ll continue to purchase them.

Super happy with these treats for my CKD cat. He will actually eat them which is a huge plus since we will not eat and of the other low phosphorus foods. Extremely happy he eats these.

Unfortunately, my cat would not eat these at all
