When I first opened it, I was not impressed- it looked pretty gross. But the instructions say to mix before use and after a thorough stir, it developed into a nice crunchy peanut butter texture. Taste is very palatable, low sugar, and not as overpowering as peanut butter.I compared separately purchasing Walnut Butter + Macadamia Nut Butter, and this product is a better value. Macadamia is what makes it so expensive. I haven't taken the time to read up on the specific reasons for these ingredients. When comparing to low sugar peanut butter, the peanut butter has similar Nutrition Facts, but I know that this product was designed to go deeper.I'm pleased to add this to my Subscribe & Save routine.(On a separate note, I recommend buying a wooden spoon / stirring utensil. Metal + plastic containers don't 'mix' well. I'd be much more comfortable if this came in a glass jar and I'm surprised that it doesn't especially given Blueprint’s health focus.)

This is really good! I was a bit skeptical, because of other reviews. I have a had a lot of nut butters, and this is honestly not any thinner or oiler than some other brands of nut butters. Once you mix it up, it's fine. The taste is exactly a nice combination of macadamia and walnut. It's on the mild side as far as sweet and low salt, so if you are looking for a real sweet taste, this isn't for you. I like that it's not too sweet and it's natural tasting. I like the crunchiness, it's not too much, it's just enough. As far as the salt content, it's low on sodium and you don't notice at all. I'm very happy with this purchase and this is a keeper.

That said, this particular product—Nutty Butter—feels like it hit the shelves before it hit the mark.Let’s start with the positives: macadamia nuts and walnuts are nutritional powerhouses. Walnuts are packed with alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a plant-based omega-3 fatty acid shown in recent studies to support brain function and cardiovascular health. Together, they make a compelling duo for anyone chasing optimized performance and long-term wellness.But here’s the issue—and it's a big one. My jar had a large piece of plastic along with several smaller plastic shards, and what looked like sharp walnut shell fragments. That’s a serious safety concern, especially from a brand built on precision and data-driven quality.The flavor and texture? Pretty solid. Slightly oily, but the nut blend delivers a rich, earthy taste that you don’t usually get from mass-market nut butters. With a little more refinement and better quality control, this could be a game-changer.I’m rooting for Bryan and the Kernel team, but Nutty Butter isn’t ready for prime time just yet. I’ll be watching for version 2.0.

Sooo I’m still unsure how to describe this….you can tell there are no BD ingredients! You only taste what is in there…with that said as much of an oil base as it has it’s somehow still quite dry. Since it is quite healthy and clean I opted to use this for protein shakes and to mix with some teddies pb when I make protein wraps. It’s not the kind of thing you will want to eat by the spoon. The container size makes it hard to mix to regulate the base of the oil….so I advise transferring it to a larger size bowl mixing it then returning back to container.

You can only taste the walnuts I was willing to pay the price for that amount I guess hoping it would also taste like macadamias. It is a quality product but I will just buy walnuts next time

I don’t normally review items on Amazon, but I felt I needed to with this one since it doesn’t seem to get enough love! First of all - I follow a keto diet, and I’ve had sensitivity issues with foods the last few months, so I’ve been very careful about what I include in my daily diet. I’ve been avoiding nut butters, but knowing the amount of research and testing that goes into these Blueprint products, I felt safe choosing this nutty butter as a little snack/dessert.It was AMAZING! Full of flavor and soooo delicious and decadent tasting (however, don’t expect peanut butter!! It’s macadamia nut and walnut- more similar in flavor profile to almond butter, but slightly more mild). I love it and ate almost the whole jar in three days. The best part for me? The fact that it’s high fat and low carb, and also not terrible calorie-wise. But the low carb part definitely had much appeal for my diet and lifestyle. Thank you, Bryan Johnson, for yet another wonderful Blueprint product!!

This is so yummy! Idk why this isn’t rated higher, honestly. Texture:Mostly smooth but a little crunchy (I think from the walnutsConsistency:Like crunchy peanut butter but maybe just a little bit oilier (but it wasn’t offputting to me)

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had seen ads and wanted to give this a try. Very oily/liquidly. I found some almond butter which I really like, and it's just better tasting, consistency, and healthier. I ended up mixing the rest of this with the almond butter in order to finish it up. Taste is a personal thing, so others may very well enjoy this. I'm sticking to almond butter.
