Amazing sound bar
Amazing sound with rich deep bass. Make sure to order the latest version of this system. If you are looking for one of the best sound bar systems, watch YouTube reviews, then come back and order this one.

Wall shaking bass
Obviously this depends on your house and room size however this one has solid wall shaking and vibrating bass with top notch surround sound. Rear speakers are wireless except the part that you need power supply cable in the wall but it’s great

Great All Rounder
So far after 5 months I adore the Q990C and has completely changed my perception of soundbars and what they can do. Decided to give my home theater system a streamlined update after my old plasma TV died (replaced with a Samsung OLED S95C) and wanted a neat setup. As an audiophile, I feel soundbars have come a long way and this one sounds almost as good, and in ways better, as my trusty 5.1 receiver and speakers (Yamaha receiver, Bowers and Wilkins speakers) this has replaced. I have a large open concept living room/kitchen area with vaulted ceilings, and I can confidently say, the Q990C can fill the entire space with immersive sound. It lacks some of the punch, richness, and full body sound that my old 5.1 system had, but improves on it with the surround sound bubble with Dolby Atmos and the latest DTS:X decoding, and a very sleek, clean design. Overall, the Q990C sounds great for movies, TV, and games and has a very clear and crisp sound. The dedicated, powerful center channel definitely helps this soundbar have excellent speech and dialogue performance when watching content, while the 3-way rear surrounds provide a strong (wireless and easily placed) true surround sound immersion. The main bar is crisp and punchy, this side of a Nakamichi Dragon, while maintaining a decently slim profile, though can sound a bit clinical and lacks some warmth. The only place where this system seems to really fall short is with the wireless subwoofer. For the power that the rest of the system puts out, the sub simply doesn’t seem to have enough power and oomph to keep up, making the whole system sound a bit lean for the space I have it in. Had they gone with 2 subs, or simply a larger single sub, this would dramatically improve the sound to my ears and make this a hesitation free recommendation. Music just sounds flat and uninspiring listening to this soundbar, so I will stick to my dedicated amp and 2.1 setup I have for listening to music, granted that I’m comparing a soundbar to a set of massive Bowers and Wilkins 802Ds and an ASW-2500 sub. But for someone looking for 1 simple system to do it all, the Q990C is hard to beat, especially given the price vs a component system (or a Dragon). Do I miss some qualities of my old custom setup? Sure I do, but the packaging of this soundbar, updated codecs, combined with the immersive Atmos sound, I’m do not regret switching. It’s simply a very clean and good sounding solution for anyone looking for full surround immersion in an easy to setup system with seamless connectivity (eARC & Q-Symphony), and overall impressive for its size sound footprint. A definite must buy for a one size fits all solution. Simply fantastic!

It works!
It works! Third unit and finally all the speakers work. I just need to play with the sound a bit and I will likely update to 5 stars if I like the sound.

Samsung’s Home Run Soundbar System
Yes indeed‼️ I finally can immerse myself in Dolby Atmos music thanks to Samsung’s astounding Q990D soundbar system. Right out of the BIG box, the 4-piece nearly wireless system produced a BIG room-filling audio feast. I’m using it mainly with multi-channel digital audio, but even limited mono or 2-channel audio is at its very best. A very intelligent algorithm can expand any audio if you select that sound mode easily with remote or phone app. How else would I be enjoying my evening drive on Kraftwerk’s newly released Dolby Atmos Autobahn?‼️👏🏻

Great Sound System . . .
At first, I wasn't sure about it, but when I started using the Smart Thing app to control the speakers setting I realized how easy is to get the speakers to reproduce the audio the way I like. The best sound system I have purchased so far.

Awesome Soundbar, worth the money when on sale, third party seller was excellent!
Got a new 77" LG EVO C4 to replace my 2007 50" Pioneer Plasma TV (720p) so serious upgrade. Of course wanted a premium soundbar too since I'm heavily invested so far. I went to a brick & mortar store and picked up a Sony BAR 8 with the small subwoofer. Wife didn't like it since the surround sound was very weak from the back and top (phantom speakers and all). Was waiting on the JBL BAR 1000 to go on sale when I saw this soundbar for sale for like 40% off its normal $1800 price tag. It was a third party seller on Amazon (Beach Camera) and I usually prefer to have things like this sold and shipped by Amazon. But I've purchased electronics from Beach Camera before so I pulled the trigger. Turns out Beach was fantastic! I received a notification that it shipped that very day and it arrived two days early. So five stars to beach camera! The soundbar, subwoofer, and rear speakers are great. Unlike the Sony, you can pretty much change the volume on each channel: front, back, up, and sides. I highly recommend downloading a free SPL sound meter on your phone (make sure it can do "C" weighting) and fiddle with channel levels until they're all the same volume at your listening position using a Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 tone test (search on YouTube).I'm not going to go into the quality of the sound since there are so many reviews out there that put this soundbar at or near the top. In the end, a fantastic soundbar from Beach Camera.
