At 1" x 3/4", Avery 5428 labels are nearly the ideal 1" x 13/16" size for labeling SD-series memory cards.Caution: Sticking a label atop a factory label on an SD-series card invites jamming (scrapeback and resticking) of the added label inside your SD slot or adapter. I've experimented with this and found my computer-related SD-series equipment tends to prevent such trouble, but a (cheap) digital camera requires _me_ to prevent trouble via careful handling. Take heed, and don't let your experience (expensively?) differ.For unlabeled or delabeled SD-series cards or for cards used in equipment providing adequate prevention of label scrapeback, these labels work well. They stick firmly yet remove cleanly (at least when new).Hint: Avoid reusing these labels. Despite their firm adhesion, the curl induced by removing them can, after a few days, overcome the adhesive and produce an "adhesive flag" sticking up in search of trouble.Pencil and ball point pen write well on these, and pencil can be reasonably erased using a soft eraser. Gel pens also write well on these BUT REQUIRE BLOTTING due to limited ink absorption. Marker performance varies, sometimes producing lightened color, so test as needed.

I need very small labels that I could print a logo on for an expo! These were perfect! I love Avery! Easy to design, print so nice!

I have lots of small parts in parts boxes and sometimes it's hard to tell an M3 screw from an M4 just by looking at it. These labels are great for labelling the parts boxes to show what's in each compartment. Bonus: I run them through my wife's inkjet printer instead of just handwriting them so that they're readable.I like that they're removeable so they don't leave a residue if I want to change them. The down side of this, of course, is that they don't stick as well as non-removeable labels. It's not a problem, really, except when I had all the parts boxes stacked together -- sometimes one would grab the label of the box below it as I tried to get at it in the middle of the stack.Best of all, these are affordable enough that I can afford to label just about everything.

I was looking for some small labels to have around the house to label various things. We stockpile a lot of kitchen goods when they go on sale or when we have coupons and we like to use labels to make the expiration dates easier to read. Some products have very difficult dates to read on their own or have dark colored boxes that don't allow for easy writing with a standard sharpie. Marking the expiration dates on white background labels like these are great. They are very compact which doesn't allow for a lot of writing room, but enough for certain applications. We use these primarily for labeling items that need more writing room or will be stacked up high in our pantry. We can mark the dates a little larger on these so they are easier to see from a distance. We use these white labels especially on dark colored cereal boxes where a sharpie wouldn't be easy to see (think dark brown Cocoa Puffs box).Overall, Avery makes great labels, and these are perfect sizes for small labeling jobs and are a great couponing companion.
