I wanted small pieces of bogwood that would not crowd my 120l tank. The 4 pieces received were just the right size. The shapes are also interesting, with arches, branching and one hole.Unless you are going for the peat-stained-water look, remember to boil and soak before use.Update; Have since bought more pieces of bogwood. Was hoping for a plain slab which I could cut into small pieces for my shrimp jars. However, the last 4 pieces were all very nicely shaped so now I have to consider sacrificing a good piece.

I have been keeping / Breeding fish for over 40 years, I am by no means an aqua scaper of any sort, I don’t use substrate and only use bog wood for my plecos and wood cats, I had very little expectations for this order, but wow was I pleasantly surprised, fully sinking no tanning (or very minimal), the pieces are also great for building and superb value for money.

Smaller than expected but very beautiful natural shapes. Sunked easily after 24h, developed some fungus the first 2 weeks, but this happens in almost every driftwood.

This so-called driftwood just looks like lumps of brown firewood? Not even wood I don't think? Not like the photo and if you want to make a return you must have a working printer. I suspect a lot of folks don't make a return as it's not worth the hassle. Not sure how this wood could even be used for the purpose and the seller clearly know it's not what he's advertising, big fat con, avoid!!!!

These pieces come I a variety of shapes and sizes, no two look alike.They are very nice quality, with warmish brown tones.However, I advise you to soak them in water overnight to remove any colour that might run into the water if you are using them for an aquarium.If you are using them for an enclosure, in my case a Tarantula set up, I soaked them for a few hours, then baked them in the oven to kill off any contaminates.That's just what I do.

Used as husbandry in reptile enclosure. Very naturalistic and would fit in well with any enclosure. Thought items would be bigger, also some have sharp edges which you’d have to be mindful with any animals you intend on using it for

The media could not be loaded. I have bought these a few times and I have been happy with the shapes I got.I like these smaller pieces for smaller aquariums as I like to piece together several pieces to make one larger piece as a main decoration.They do have a lot of very red tanin. I boiled mine 2 times and also soaked for 3 days while waiting on a few plants and they sunk immediately and no longer releasing brown much tanin although I amMaking a black water setup but wanted to be able to control the level of tanin .I see some people have received some pretty boring pieces , maybe the company needs to check and make sure that there is a mix of shapes. I have been lucky with mine.

Work for my requirement, I do some insect macro photography and bought them to use a part of the ‘set’ for photos.. one good size piece and three reasonable .. will be useful
