Some of the facial expressions are a little ambiguous, so it's hard to teach little kids the subtle difference

Okay, a little confusing to use
I got this for my therapy practice to use with kids. It's a little confusing to use, so I have to brainstorm how to instruct the kids to use them. I don't use it very often.

Great way to learn on expressing and naming your feelings
This is great teaching kids about empathy and how to express their emotions, very much like the movie Inside Out in some ways. The paper cards are on the thin side but the quality is still really good. Regardless of how old you are, I think it’s important to have this tool to help children learn/play and have around to build the resiliency and learning how to name their emotions, especially in the type of world we live in now with the rise of mental health issues. It is so basic and simple, I do feel that this would also be helpful for those who have special needs. It comes with 49 cards so that is a good amount to keep one learning.
