The wireless connection was quick, and the camera was very clear. I used it for myself and even helped my elderly dad with it. Definitely a handy tool to have at home.

The media could not be loaded. Love this camera! I wanted one for ages and finally decided to buy it. The images are clearer the darker the room is. I looked into my ears and was able to see my eardrums clearly. It was fascinating to see. I had no wax so can't comment on how it is to remove wax.I had a sore ear recently and was able to take a look in and see what's going on. The veins in my ear (first pic) were bright red down the malleus bone and some spots in the ear canal were bleeding. I had an infection which cleared up with a spray.Great little tool and really cool to use. I will be using this a lot. You can also use it to see into your throat, nose, and scalp or anywhere that's difficult to see really.I had a sore spot on my scalp recently so used it on that to see that I'd cut my head.Video attached is me doing a 'vasvalva' or otherwise known as popping the ears.

The VITCOCO Ear Wax Removal Kit really surprised me with how clear the camera quality is, it makes it easy to see exactly what you're doing. Setup was simple, and it worked great with Samsung S24 Ultra. The ear spoons are comfortable to use, and the kit feels well made overall.That said, the rubber tips are quite fragile and can split easily, so be gentle and consider having backups on hand.I've used it a couple times per ear and found it very effective, but a quick heads up: this tool is not for the squeamish.All in all, a great device for those looking for a precise, modern way to clean your ears.

I was expecting something much worse for the price but this is pretty well made. The app is probably the weakest point but even that does the job apart from the slightly annoying way it adds a black circle around the video when watching live that isn’t there on playback. It isn’t very integrated with iOS either though meaning (I think anyway) that it wasn’t able to save the video to my camera roll and only saved it within the app instead but still it definitely does the job I wanted it to do and presumably other apps will connect with it too so better ones might come out in future.The actual device is pretty well made and connects to my phone via its own WiFi. My only real criticism is that the spoon is designed to extend further than the camera which means that you have to extra careful when manoeuvring around your ears because you might think you are safe and further away from your ear drum due to the camera showing you one position, only to push a little further forward to get some wax which means you can easily pierce the ear drum. Most people probably won’t have the patience or dexterity or wherewithal to use it that carefully or safely so I fear they some people can do some damage to themselves with this.Still it does the job well enough and I am glad to have something that means I don’t have to rely on doctors or anyone else to see what’s going on with my ears. I will only use this VERY sparingly though out of fear of pushing too far into my ear and damaging the ear drum. The little covers for the tip spoon are easy enough to get on and off too which I expected to be more of a hassle so I was pleasantly surprised overall by this little gadget especially with such a cheap price tag.

Despite all my skepticism, this was an excellent purchase.In 2 minutes I had the app installed and the camera connected (you have to select the device’s WiFi which is unusual but it is clearly instructed).Half an hour later I had successfully and very carefully removed some annoying wax from both ears that had been bothering me for months. I could clearly see the ear drum and the relative position of the scoop thanks to the well-lit camera.The app is no frills, just what you need and it’s configured so the image does move the same way you move the camera.You do need manual dexterity. You just do. If you’re not VERY confidently coordinated then just pay someone else to do it.Job done. Fraction of the cost of a visit to the ear cleaners. Did exactly what I wanted. Should have bought years ago.

Worked right out of the box. It was easy to set up & install, was a bit skeptical about the app.Light gets a bit warm i managed to get some earwax out but the light head is too big. I was struggling to move it in my ear & it hurt.Could do with a smaller metal part & spoon for lady ears.

Pros: excellent for its intended purpose of removing earwax. I've suffered poor hearing in my left ear due to a buildup of dense earwax. I was able to remove it with this thing and it's like I can hear colours. My right even sounded a bit worse than usual by comparison so I gave that a quick clear out too. It's pretty reasonably priced for what it does and seems sturdily built.Cons: a few minutes into use, it starts to heat up and becomes a little uncomfortable to use.
