Just dip in the aquarium water and compare with the chart underneath the paper picture. Very simple way to see if your aquarium water is good and safe for your fish. Make sure to use clear water chart for clear water testing and saltwater chart for saltwater.

These test strips help me a lot with monitoring the water for my fish. It's so simple to use, just dip it one second and wait for a minute for the result and compare with the color chart! The color chart is very easy to read as well! I have all the other solutions ready so whatever is out of balance based on the results I just add to the water even with all the fish in it. I use this twice a week and I do partial water changes every week.I initially bought the bottle with 25 strips but now that I see how really useful it is, I'll be getting the 100 strips bottle on my next order. There's also more savings with the 100 strips bottle. So far all my fish have stayed healthy and I wouldn't go without this as my helper! Really good product!!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:this products is super affordable and it’s super simple to use, you just dip the stick for 1 second then pull out and wait 60 seconds and compare it to the graph that is on the bottle to compare to. Fool proof!

Does its job fine. My only issue is when these products say 6-in-1, 7-in-1 and all that, people that are new into all this can get the feeling that you are covered. This product doesn’t test for ammonia, which is a pretty critical test. I’d rather get something that provides ammonia strips as well.

These test strips are a quick and easy way to monitor my tank’s water quality. They’re simple to use and provide results in about a minute. Great for regular checks to keep my fish healthy.

Budget test strips. You get what you pay for, I guess. Do NOT go wild trying to balance the levels based on these (or any other) test strips alone. Get multiple opinions before getting crazy with chemicals.For me, these test strips indicate a wildly high nitrate level all of the time. This was expected as my 15 years old fish has stopped eating and the automatic feeder over fed it. I drained over 3/4 of the water and rinsed all of the gravel. Plus a new filter of course. The next day this kit still indicated wildly high nitrate levels. I drained about 1/3 of the water and vacuumed the gravel. I added a nitrate lowering pad to the filter. That showed a slightly lowered nitrate level. (my fresh water shows zero nitrate BTW) But by the next day, it was wildly high nitrate levels again. I borrowed a different brand test kit, and imagine that, almost no nitrates in the water.I have ordered a different brand, so I have three brands to compare.
