They are great as starters!
I bought these for my two great grandsons. I started out with the cheaper ones because the boys can be a little rough. The boys loved them and so far they’re still in good shape.

So fun!
These are really fun! My 6 yr old gets bored with toys quickly, but she keeps playing with these! They are a bit hard for her to launch on her own, but she enjoys watching them fly either way. Pretty cool that you can change their "flight pattern" by adjusting the wing piece. They are a bit fragile (they're only foam), but obviously need to be lightweight to fly. My husband and I had just as much fun with them as our little girl did. Just beware, they go further than you may expect, and especially with a breeze may easily end up on your (or someone else's!) roof!

Well made and so fun!
We had sooo much fun with these planes! My 3 year old granddaughter and grampa and I played all day - they took many crashes and no dents or breaks. Highly recommend

Misleading size
Planes are measured generally from nose to tail for size. Says 20 in but they are referring to the wing span when it should be length not width. Misleading as you can get the standard gliders in a 6 pack for a lot cheaper than this airplane. If it was a 6 pack for the cost I wouldn’t mind but at $10 a plane this is not worth the price point. Stick to the colored gliders that are a little smaller instead.

Four boys from 6-8 years old had a blast with these
This proves that kids can be happy with simple toys. We were looking for something outdoors to do with our 7 year old grandson given the Covid situation, so I bought four of these gliders, assembled them (two minutes each, but two came with decals and it 5 minutes each and was a difficult task, lol). Then took them over to his house. He was out in the schoolyard down the block playing with his friends. So we had a 75 minute nonstop test of the product, used by four kids of different abilities and man did they have fun with no damage to the planes. The only issue that there might be after long use is that there are two settings for the back wing. My wife and I insisted that we do any changes of that wing but I could see a younger child break it unsupervised. The 7 and 8 year old figured out how to do it on there own. The gliders are not super light and the 6 year old threw one right at our grandson and hit him in the face. Fortunately he closed his eyes instinctively. No damage but maybe some supervision with young kids. So how do they fly? If you are an adult you can get them to triple loop. Kids did 1.5 or two loops. The glide mode is also fun and if there is a wind they will go for a hundred feet or more. Encourage patience with the kids. Usually it took them a half dozen tries to get the hang of it, so ten or fifteen minutes. Two little 3-4 year old girls wandered into the group and the boys gave them a chance and they didn't want to give back the planes. lol. The kids didn't want to stop playing but it was getting dark and two of them were throwing as well as the adults after an hour. Highly recommend. My wife and I also had fun with them! They are well made with dense styrofoam butwon't last for ever.

Fun at the park
The kids really enjoyed flying these at the park. If you throw hard they do a loop and if you’re gently throwing them the glide a good distance. Best on a calm day.
