Can You Hear Me Now?

Perhaps the best $20 I've spent in a long while. I replaced one of the stock antennae on an AC68p that was incapable of reliably getting a 2.4GHz signal from the back of the house 50 ft. through two external walls and 1-2 interior ones onto the front porch. Pre-dawn (lower heat in the back room and/or fewer neighbors using their networks in the apartment building 30 feet away), I could previously get 11mbps downstream on my IPhone (2.4GHz 11n) in this location, according to SpeedTest. During daylight, at least in warmer months, throughput disappeared--still connected on 2.4GHz, but no usable data transmission. I had adjusted the control channel and took similar usual optimization measures. My AP wasn't even the strongest signal on the porch, thanks to one neighbor (damn you, Babaganoush!). Meanwhile, my 11AC laptop on 5GHz was still able to get 27mbps link rate (according to Windows, not throughput) when my phone lost connectivity: under ideal conditions (pre-dawn, cool temps), this could go up to 117mbps.Unscrew, screw in new antenna, point. Although the phone still registers only 2 of 3 bars most of the time, it oscillates with 3 bars, SpeedTest consistently gives me 24mbps+ in the afternoon. My laptop link rate on 11ac is not significantly better, however.I wasn't expecting more. In fact, this is better than I'd expected on 2.4GHz. All of my devices are either 1x1 I-devices or 2x2 laptops. So, I still have the two omnidirectional antennas in place, plus this directional one pointed straight down the length of my house. I was a good candidate for a directional antenna like this to work well for the specific problem location.I'll also note that purchasing this came after an entire day spent trying to get an old DD-WRT router set up as a repeater. The crowded network environment and lack of clear channels really didn't let me do this at all. Not to mention, I upgraded my router in the first place so that I wouldn't have to have multiple routers plugged in. And, the repeater would have needed a separate SSID for stability, it seems. So, the antenna was a much more elegant solution.

Amazing antenna that works better than anything I have ever tried

These are amazing. Especially when you need a good antenna for the 5GHz ranges. The gains stated are actually accurate, which is difficult to find when looking for antennae. I doubled the connection strength and quality using these on my computer. They are attached via a low loss wifi antenna extension cable so aiming them is a little finicky, but you only have to do that once. I had to use the cable because two of these won't fit into the antenna plugs that are super close to each other on my system. Also, my computer is on a three level metal stand and the router is directly below it, so I can't aim any directional antenna properly from there. None of these problems actually have anything to do with the antennae themselves, I mention them because even if you have these problems, yourself, these antennae can still be the best thing to do for your wifi. These work amazingly well on the 5GHz ranges, even though obstacles and walls. They also give great improvement in the 2.4GHz ranges, but they do yield a higher gain and improvement in the 5GHz ranges. When pointing them around for fun/out of curiosity, I can get good connections with wifi farther away than I thought would be possible for an antenna of this size. I really wish that my router was capable of using non built in antenna so I could switch all six to these. They do cost more than one would expect, but I have tried many different types and configurations of antennae and just using these yields the best results by far. The directionality also eliminates noise and signal from other sources from other directions, which is also super helpful. My only problem with these is that they don't turn all of the way around and they aren't double jointed so that they can be pointed straight up. As far as I can tell, they can't be pointed in the direction of the plug they are attached to, so they can only point away from the router/computer, making full, 360 degree coverage from a router in the center of a home difficult. This isn't a problem for most household layouts, but for a 2 story dwelling, it is a problem. A directional antenna has to be able to point in any direction

These fit the Phantom 4 Pro Controller after installing the ...

These fit the Phantom 4 Pro Controller after installing the BluProton Ant Modification kit and are dual band unlike the ones that come with the Blue Proton kit... The ant's that come with the kit are Only 2.4ghz ... A Must if you modify the controller... Note that the Swivel on these Ants is a bit loose and will fall over if you tilt you controller and they should have a tighter fit for this application.. I'm making a clip that will fit between the ant and keep them equal distance apart and in line where they cannot move ...The Company send me an Email asking if I had any issues to contact them but was done through Amazon which does not give a reply address.. So ..If the Company reads this.. I like this product with the one issue being how loose the swivel is.. and has no provision to tighten.. If you turn the controller a little they fall out of alignment which is not good for a direction ant.. I have solved the issue by making a clip that locks them together but fixing the loose swivel would be the best solution...
