Apple iPhone XS Max, 256GB - Space Grey (Renewed)

This is my first time buying a second hand phone online. However I was not disappointed. I purchased this phone for my daughter as a Christmas gift. When it came in the package there was a screen protector which I was not expecting.The charger and the charging cable were really good quality. The phone looked like it was brand new. The screen was in excellent condition and the working system is brilliant. The battery life is excellent.Overall I am genuinely pleased with my purchase and My daughter is extremely happy.

I had a little trepidation about buying renewed, but, although it's very early days (I'm still in the process of setting it up - which is made very easy by sitting it next to my current phone and letting it go through the motions), this looks such a smart (pardon the pun) renewed phone. the phone's case - both glass and metal are in really lovely condition. There is a mark on the front screen that is about 1.5 inches long. you can feel it with your fingernail but it's barely noticeable. There's a scratch on the rear that is about half an inch long, but that's it. It's listed on Amazon as Excellent condition, but good on UR.co.uk. I'd really have to go with excellent, with only the two minor blemishes tha it has. I will report back on battery health, once it has finished setting up, but I'm very impressed with my first foray into the renewed phone market. The phone was packaged very securely in a cardboard pack, that folded several times and kept the phone nice and safe. In with the phone was a new charging cable (USB-C to lightning), a sim card "prong" tool, to help pop out the sim tray and......a little pack of sweets, as a thank you from the seller. Nice touch! So, all in all, do not be put off by renewed phones (unless the battery turns out to be in poor condition - later on that), as i can say that my experience is very positive, certainly as far as UR.co.uk is concerned.

I bought this for my husband who didn’t want to pay the Apple store price. The phone has no visible marks/scratches. It looks like new. The battery is 86% so a little disappointing. Have not tried face recognition or any other features as my husband will return tomorrow and begin using it. If nothing wrong then good value for money. No SIM card remover and the plug although compatible not original but this is mentioned in description. Hopefully it works like new!UPDATEmy husband has started to use his phone. He is having problems with face recognition. Some times his face is recognised other times he needs to use his pin code. We have reset it twice but still the same problem. Also have issues with volume it either rings normally or very quietly. Giving it another week or so if issues persist will need to return

I was sceptical at first buying a renewed phone so I decided to contact the company and they were brilliant and was able to tell me the condition it was in and to my siprise the iPhone might as well have came brand new out of the box the only thing that is slightly different is the battery health but at 92% for a couple year old phone is good and for the discounted price there’s no signs of scratches all the software seems to run perfectly fine Bluetooth calls etc I shall edit the reply at some point in the future if anything goes wrong but I very much doubt itEdit: (23-06-23)The phone is still running well! Using it now to edit this review, battery is still going strong, only thing is the phone has slowed down very slightly (but that’s to expect on a phone this old and used daily) absolutely chuffed with the purchase

This phone was not as described. The camera lens was contaminated with dust which rendered this feature as good as useless., seriously lowering the value of the phone. Also, it was fitted with a non-approved battery. I took the phone to my local repairer to seek their advice. I was told that the dust had very likely entered due to the screen not being bonded properly, with gaps between the body and the glass allowing contamination to enter. Sure enough, two days later, the screen shattered whilst in my pocket, in spite of it being protected by a wrap around leather cover. The seller claims that this was my fault and has so far refused any compensation, in spite of acknowledging that the phone was supplied in a faulty condition. My advice to any potential buyers is to avoid this seller at all costs!

Paid £305 for this Dec 2022. I can find no blemishes on the outside although my eyesight isn't great.The battery has a max capacity of 87%. That's good enough, probably need a new one in 12-18 months.The screen is an original OLED screen. I previously returned the same model of phone to another amazon refurbishment partner who had replaced the screen with a thicker, cheaper and lower spec LCD screen (keep an eye out for that!).All features seem to work fine, so far.June 2023 update. Still happy. Battery Maximum Capacity now at 86%
