Really awesome stuff the black color is rich and dark and tape is easy to work with and sticky. I would LOVE to see a 4” version of this tape. Only black foil tape I’d use on Amazon so far.If your reading this Avoid the “Bomie” brand foil tape also sold on Amazon, its literally tissue paper thin.

This works. Our wood stove had developed some leaks between sections of the chimney pipe -- where they slide together -- resulting in smoke in the house. I used this tape around all the joints and there's no more smoke. Also, it's hard to see as the tape matches the stove's matte finish. We've had the stove going for two weeks. Highly recommended.

Do not buy the Amazon recommended one, it doesn’t even stick to itself much less anything else. Amazon needs to change their recommendation. This is the one you want! Great adhesion. I use it to to literally put my bumper back together. I’m not paying $1000 for a cracked bumper cover on a $3000 car. I take strips and rebuilt to back together. It’s a chore, but this tape lasts 6 or more months. The other brand, two weeks (not exaggerating, at all). It takes all the rain, dirt, driving 6000 miles before I have to redo it.

My application is out there but heres some stuff ive learned in the last 5 mins before writing this review.Not annodized but a paint for the surface coating for the black. Drop of gun oil or acetone takes it right off.Adheasive is strong though.Fiber laser makes good stickers.

I bought the stuff to use on my ceramic grill/smoker to control air leakage around the ash clean out. I use an automatic temperature controller, so the air leakage problem is real. I found the adhesive works well with the metal and ceramic parts of the cooker. And, the temperature doesn't seem to be a problem.

I really like this aluminum tape with the matte black finish. This type of tape in black color finish is difficult, if not impossible to find at any local stores. It has a high stick grip and withstands quite high heat level. And the foil material conforms to any shape desired and holds.

Not sure where all the great reviews came form here. This stuff is sparkly and not a matte color at all. It will reflect light very easily. and this is supposed to be the good stuff??...
