Bed wedge was delivered promptly.When you open it it is rolled up tightly in shrink wrap.Carefully slitting the wrap open the wedge sprang up into it's full size.I could see the quality of the cover and unzipped it a bit to check the foam.All around a quality product.Just a very faint odor and as it was a hot,sunny day put it out on the deck.That night when using it there was no odor.It will take getting used to but after the 3rd night I was able to sleep through the night.My DR. told me to get a bed wedge for a hiatus hernia.This one has greatly improved my sleep.Also like the memory foam top layer for comfort.Had ordered the 71/2" but received the 12".At 1st thought I might have to exchange it but now it's working out for the best.I would recommend this product.

When I first received this product I was very disappointed because I was so looking forward to a nice 7.5” wedge pillow for my GERD. However when it arrived and the first week or so it was not at all as described. Although the listing specifically says that this should be a 7.5 inches tall wedge, as you can see from the pictures, the product barely measured 6 inches tall. When this producer is placed next to my other wedge pillow, it was clear that this pillow was a lot lower.Now after having it for almost a months now. I must say that this wedge pillow did become a bit taller. Though it is still not 7.5” tall, it is now almost 7” tall which is more acceptable. What made me decide to keep this pillow instead of returning it is that I must say the cover material is very soft. Though the initial weeks it had a very strong disgusting chemical smell, after a few Febreze it is now nice and comfy and most importantly it gives me a better night sleep over my other wedge pillow. This is a true memory foam wedge pillow. Though some people may find it too soft I actually grow to loved it. So I want to update my review to give it a fair rating.I think although I was originally disappointed with this product when it first arrived, I must admit over time I had fallen in love with it as it continues to give me great night sleeps which is very important for me who has a very demanding day job and a young toddler.I would highly recommend this wedge pillow!

Just what I wanted.Perfect height, I had bought and returned the 7 inch height pillows from expensive brands and had lost hope of finding a pillow that helps me to get a good night's sleep. I have a very bad reflux and sleeping in a flat need isn't possible.The package was excellent. The pillow came to its as advertised size and shape in less than a minute.I had bought Medislant pillow of $99 and was badly disappointed by the product. It took two days to come to a shape which remotely resembled a wedge and the shape was very distorted like a lump. Worse than a regular pillow. I took chance to buy this at $20 and was skeptical tool I received the product. I'm in love with it. Purifies "Firm and Adequate" support to stay in shape and serve the purpose when used.Improvement Areas:Think 36 inch option should be provided. This helps more comfortable side sleeping.There is a little smell, which I think will go away in a couple of days.OVERALL I'M VERY DELIGHTED AND STRONGLY RECOMMEND.

Great product. When it came in a box, I didn't know what was up, but some of the star ratings in Amazon also mentioned that it arrived to them in a box. Fortunately, I was lucky because some of the complaints never happened to us. When we finally got the delivery box open, it popped out, and arranged itself ready for duty without haste. As for the product itself, it seems to be of quality foam and is firm enough to support my shoulders as I sleep and still keep a proper angle for my esophagus as I suffer from gerd. However, I have trouble sliding down from the incline at night -- that is easy to rectify. Not so hard to tackle is the fact that my sleeping angle puts pressure on my coccyx and that creates pain in the night.. Don't know what to do about that. However, the product is good and I would recommend it to anyone.

Astonishingly firm. There's a thin 1" or 2" layer of memory foam on one of the pillow's broad sides, which is where the softest part is, but this thing is still amazingly solid. Don't look at this as a pillow, look at it as a Mattress Extension.Also, for myself personally, I found the height a bit too high--I just need a slight rise, I never considered how extreme a mere 8.8" rise would actually be. However, if you need that kind of incline, then get what you got to get! I'm definitely using this (tilted at a different angle) for propping myself up in bed while reading or on the computer, so I still find a use for it.It DOES come with a white pillow case (a really thin case that uses a zipper) which is good. That's pretty much all! Oh, except for the packing job: this thing was shipped to me in "rolled-up" form, like a rug. It was sealed so amazingly tightly I had no idea how big it was--and as soon as I unwrapped it, the pillow immediately sprung into its proper shape, with no folds or creases or anything. That was amazing. Like I said, this thing is pretty solid and durable.Good stuff!

The pillow was shrink wrapped when I received it, and I read other reviews that people said it didn't take the shape it was supposed to but mine did instantly. I've been using this pillow for 3 days and I have no longer been waking up nauseous and with a feeling of something in my throat! I have had acid reflux for some time now and it is amazing that this pillow is actually working! I would recommend it to anyone who is suffering from acid reflux. I have read some other reviews that people said their neck and back hurt from this pillow but mine seem to be just fine, it might be because I have been using multiple pillows previously so I was used to being elevated. This pillow is very comfortable and I am so happy I purchased it.
