Small and fast.I have a mechanical WD 1TB Passport drive and compared to like for like for file transfer there is no comparison.I transferred a 5GB film in maybe 15 seconds to the SSD on 3.0 USB, I then transferred some family photo albums Circa.40GB in less than a minute. Really pleased and value for money.

OK, not the fastest for huge databases, but ideal if you are wanting to send them by post. Rigid and light and just about comes within the limits of first class letter post if mounted on stiff cardboard. The 1 terabyte model easily embraces my 11,000+ collection of audio material Just to think in earlier days of my collection it took a whole wallfull of cassette tapes and later not much less of minidiscs. Now it's on one small drive.All we need now is a portable mp3 player capable of plugging this size drive into and handling that number of items, although I can't complain my excellent LG Oled does a very good job.Among the new crop of small I terabyte drives this is one of the few that has not moved to a 'c' interface and is compatible with most external equipment.

I would have given this five stars as I love the size (It's not much bigger than a standard flash drive) and the price is very good for this size of storage,.and it works at a reasonable transfer rate. However, the free Cloud back up service that came with it was entirely incompatible and whereas they supplied 'fixits' (even fixits for some of the fixits!) to make it compatible and accessible, some of these fixits were so complex that you required prior programming knowledge to follow them through, and they still didn't work. I spent a very frustrating six hours trying to follow their fixits through and was totally unsuccessful - a complete waste of time. Why include something that was incompatible in the first place?This experience definitely reduced the 'pleasing' factor of what is essentially a great piece of kit!

Before buying this little device, I read the reviews - and many of them complained about speed. I have no speed issues. The little SSD is connected to my laptop 24/7 and is amazingly fast. I use it for video projects, so it really has to work hard. No issues. And it is tiny. I thought this is a compromise device, but it damn sure isn't. I will buy this again soon.

Fantastic little device, literally out of the Box and away it goes.transfered photos from old Computer to newcomputer trouble free and very fast.i brought my Wife one and recommended them to IT at work, they brought 5!.Seem to be very stable. 240GB so plenty of space for files and images.

This is the second one of these I have bought. Very good value for money, and very quick for small size files. Does slow down if you copy a few large files at the same time. Overall, very pleased.

Super speed compared to a flash stick! Very small, about 3 times the size of a typical flash stick, but at least 4 times faster to write. So if compact size is your priority then this device will be in second place! Please remember that excluding the USB connector, it is roughly twice the size of a typical USB flash drive, but writes at 4 times the speed!

This is a really nice compact drive. Unfortunately it uses old technology (likely TLC-based) and sequential writes slow to a crawl after a few seconds - if you're transferring more that about 5 GB of files in one go, after a few seconds you'll see the estimated time change from a few seconds to several minutes. I tried transferring 36gb of videos to the drive and it started at lightning speed and the estimate was around 2 minutes, then after a few seconds it grinded to a halt and the estimated time went up to 15 minutes.I guess you get what you pay for. I'd still opt for this over a similarly priced SD card or thumbdrive.

Lo utilicé para instalar iOS y desde ahí bootear una macbook air que viene con poco espacio de disco de fábrica. Por mi trabajo suele estar exigido constantemente y hasta el momento ha respondido de maravilla. El precio es muy accesible y el rendimiento de maravilla hasta el momento. Veremos cómo sigue en el futuro.

Produto muito bom, têm um tamanho pequeno para andar no bolso e o disco é rapido o que é util para o meu trabalho. Recomendo bastante.!!

Questo SSD esterno, pur se presenta delle "difficoltà" con i trasferimenti massivi di files più grandi, è perfetto per tutta una serie di applicazioni in cui dimensione, velocità, silenziosità e basso consumo sono importanti.Nel mio caso l'ho scelto per le funzioni PVR e time shift del mio OLED Panasonic GZ950 (ed immagino funzioni benissimo con tutta la serie) che come tutti i televisori del marchio necessita di un dispositivo classificato come "mass storage" dalla dimensione minima di 160Gb (chissà poi perchè, quando un'ora in hd occupa 3Gb...) e non un usb stick. Quindi un vero e proprio disco esterno.Di metterci un meccanico nel 2020 non se ne parla: solo tutte le accensioni e gli spegnimenti e poi per cosa?? Magari mando in registrazione un programma al mese...Bene cerca cerca arrivo a questo prodotto che si rivela perfetto: cavetto corto ma solido, leggero, piccolissimo, con la scocca in metallo per un ottimo raffreddamento e con un led di attività praticamente invisibile anche al buio completo. Silenzioso lo è per definizione, diventa tiepido, non scalda, ma ho preferito non nasconderlo all'interno dello sportellino per garantirgli la corretta areazione.E' iperveloce e sovradimensionato per prestazioni per il compito assegnato, ma per il prezzo a cui viene proposto è inutile cercare altro. Vedremo se dura.

Ich bin super zufrieden. Ich nutze die kleine SSD für die Video-Aufzeichnung am Blackmagic Design Atem Mini Pro. Dort habe ich einen USB-C hub stecken und neben einer 3,5" HDD auch noch die PNY SSD, die ich als hauptsächliches Aufnahmemedium nutze.Bisher keine Ausfälle oder sonstige Probleme. Anstecken, aufzeichnen, läuft. Die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit ist m.M. gut und die Verarbeitung generell auch. Mir kommt zugute, dass die SSD so klein ist, da ich gerne Stauraum spare und so mit wirklich kompaktenm Equipment unterwegs sein kann.TOP! Davon wird es bald noch welche geben!
