Hi it works fine with thinner cables such as the basic HDMI cables you get with base monitors or standard USB C cables but not the thicker shielded ones like TetherTools or shielded HDMI

I particularly like the fact that this racket is small and unobtrusive. Sits on the base of my camera securely holding my tether cable in place.

I had seen tether blocks from other photographic suppliers which cost as much as £100 but I didn’t want to spend that much on what was going to be a single job.I must say that this product works extremely well and for the price, it’s a no-brainer. It’s surprisingly small and can accommodate two different thicknesses of cable. Easy to fit and the screw in fitting can take a quick release plate attached to it.

Good price simple adaptor BUT if you use with large orange cable the apertures on this are just too small - as such doesn’t allow the clamp to be flat to base of camera . This is emphasised and becomes less stable when additional tripod block is added . For occasional use is ok - but for regular use with expensive equipment I wasn’t happy to use with compromised fit . Anything thinner than orange tether cable I think would work well . Is a shame because had the holes been bigger would be a really good budget piece - instead of under 10£ will be ordering alternative close to 100£

My Tethertools cable kept disconnecting from my camera so I got this to keep it in place. Works fine.
