I love the crisp color, the intuitive response of the MacBook Air. I was able to transfer photos from my iPhone easily to my MacBook Air 13 inch. But then, the MacBook quit charging. I tried changing outlets, turning the MacBook off and on. I finally was able to charge the MacBook using a USB-C cord. This morning, I finally looked into the receptor port for the magnetic thingie. There was something the size of a salt crystal, moveable with my fingernail, but I couldn't remove it. Heavy sigh, I remembered suggestions found online re solving charging problems and I blew out with compressed air, both ends of the charging cable.Viola, the magnet ends clamped together and a little green light came on showing the ends were connected properly. And, yes, the MacBook Air was charging properly.I'd only owned it for 4 days, used it inside the house and discarded the idea that magnetic dirt could have possibly gotten anywhere on anything. Yes, it can...The DVD/CD player i'd gotten with the MacBook works great once you find out how to put the eject button on the top bar of the screen and to figure out what the eject image looks like.I'm 75. That's how intuitive the Apple MacBook is. Yes, I need to look up things. I'm looking forward to cataloging my pictures and editing them on my MacBook Air.
