IF BATTERY IS YOUR PRIORITY, YOU COULD CHOOSE THIS OR ANY OTHER DECENT NECKBAND HONESTLY
I am writing this review after 10 days of using Nirvana Ion. I was very confused between getting this or Realme wireless 3 neckband. After watch the YouTube reviews and the battery back up, i choose to buy this. And by the way this is my first TWS, I haven't used any other tws before, so finally decided to get Nirvana Ion. Now I'll let you know about thePROS:1. Packaging was good and delivery was ontime. 👍👍2. The unboxing experience was good. 👍👍The box contains couple of ear tips, stickersand usb - C cable.3. The Bluetooth setup and connectivity withGoogle fast pair support was great.👍👍It also has a pairing or reset button on the.case.4. The Case looks and feels nice in the hand withthe matte black finish.👍👍 Wouldn't attractfingerprints or smudges easily. It's kinda bulkytho, would definitely bulge out of the pocket.5. Audio quality, at first when I connected didn'timpress me much, as it was playing in SBCcodec, after changing to AAC codec andswitching to Signature sound, the audio.quality considerably improved. 👍👍It is bass heavy, the bass kinda bleeds intomids of you increase the volume about 70%.Treble was the weak link, I wished it was morebalanced.6. Gesture Controls and App support, i honestly.think it is good. The controls are easy toremember. The touch response was alsoaccurate. The in ear detection, could be tricky.but it worked fine for me. There is option toturn it off in tha app, so I won't complaint.7. Battery, this is the highlight of this tws, and itperforms great without any doubt. I haveused it for 3 days with around 70% volumewithout charging the case. 👍👍👍8. Call quality was good, I had no problem whilecalling or receiving calls. It was loud and clear.for both the parties. 👍👍CONS:1. The Size of the earbuds, especially theportion which goes inside was kinda too bigfor my ears, it was hurting my ears afterwearing it for a couple of hours. I wish theykept a little bit longer and narrow nozzle for abetter fit, as the OnePlus wireless buds. (I havepics for comparison ) even tho the size is bigthe weight didn't bother me much, it wasactually light weight.2. The balanced mode, isn't really balanced, they jus suppress the bass and treble andincrease the mids/ vocals. Wish they couldhave tuned it better, so that more peoplewould use it, if they don't like the basspowered signature sound. And the bass isn'treally as good or right as i would have liked itto be, if compared to CCA CRA ( i shouldn't becomparing these, my bad 😅)3. There is no fast charging support for the case, this is a minor con. But when the case batteryis fully drained, it takes about 2.5 hrs tocharge fully.4.It dose not have duel pairing or multiple pointconnectivity. It's a hassle, everytime when youwant to pair or use another device at the sametime. Conclusion: It was great to buy the Nirvana Ion as a tws for its novelty factory, ie. the impressive battery backup. It was enjoyable to wear and listen to music or watch series for a couple of hours, after which I had to pull em off due to the fit and comfort issue, otherwise it would have been a 4 ⭐ buy for me at the price of 1799. But honestly, if I had the chance to wear it an experience before buying it, I might have stuck with my option of buying the Realme wireless 3 neckband, it has all the features like duel pairing, spatial audio fast charging ect. and I feel it would have been more comfortable and easy to carry in my opinion. So I would suggest you to check it out, if any of your friends or family has already have them. The fit and comfort and the audio perception are highly subjective so take this review with a pinch of salt. I would still recommend it if you could get it under or around 1500 rupees in the next sale. Or else increase your budget and go for OnePlus buds 2r or Realme T300. Or go for neckband like OnePlus wireless buds 2/2 ANC or Realme wireless 3.

Rock Solid After 2 Years (Even Survived a Stove!)
I've been using the boAt Nirvana Ion earbuds for over 2 years now (bought them in March 2023), and honestly, they’ve been super reliable. They still work almost like new, which I didn’t expect after this long. I’ve dropped them more times than I can count—including once on a kitchen gas stove with a low flame for a few seconds (yeah, really!)—and somehow, they still work perfectly. That’s some serious durability. Plus, they're still getting firmware updates, which is a nice bonus. Here’s how I’d rate them:Design/Looks: 5/5 – Still love the way they look.Pairing/Connectivity: 4/5 – Usually smooth, just the occasional delay.Audio Quality: 5/5 – Music sounds great, no complaints there.Battery Life: 5/5 – Battery backup is still strong after 2 years.Fit: 2/5 – Biggest downside for me. They fall out easily if I move suddenly or run.Calling: 4/5 – Good for normal calls, but noise cancellation struggles in noisy places like traffic. Not a big deal considering the age.Final Thoughts:I’d give these a solid 4 out of 5. They’ve lasted longer than I expected, survived drops (even on fire!), and still perform well. If the fit was better, they'd be near perfect for me.

Nirvana ion (no ANC) - "Premium line-up" for people who don't know premium
Build quality: Does look premium with a matte finish, if showing off is your thing. But then again, who TF shows off boAt? Not resistant to finger prints, smudges, dust and scratches. In fact, might actually be a magnet for all these. Would much prefer if instead of one giant indicator there were multiple tiny ones to better represent the charge status. The hinge doesn't feel very satisfying but for this price range it won't break at least. So 4/5 for build quality and apperance.Fit: The buds are super light doesn't even feel like I'm wearing them. They do fit super nicely inside the ears and feel comfortable even after long time usage. Don't come off during eating, laughing or working out etc. The fit is even better than some of the much pricier earbuds I have used. 5/5 for comfort and fit.Battery life: This shouldn't even be a question. That's literally the selling point of these things. One fully charged case will last you a week even if with heavy usage. This thing is literally a beast when compared to most other (even premium TWSs) when it comes to battery life. Fully charged earbuds last for about 16-18 hours on full volume. On 50%, about 20 hours. The charging cable is big fxxcking joke tho! It would make most guys feel confident about their junk. It's not even small, it's frickin' tiny bruh. 5/5 for battery life.Other features: The in-ear detection works fine, but will pause whatever is playing in both buds even if you just remove one side. There's no "find my device" option in the app. The app is super basic too and the equaliser is trash. The touch sensors don't always work for some reason. Don't play games so no idea about the "beast" mode. There is no multi point connectivity either. 3.5/5 for features, could be a little better even at this price range.Portability: Pretty light and small. A bit heavier than other earbuds thanks to the massive battery it's flexing. If battery life, portability and aversion to wires are you thing, go for it. No rating here, cause well, portability is THE thing of wireless earbuds.Mic: Better call quality compared to its competitors at a similar price range. It ain't crystal clear but it will get the job done, at least as long as you're somewhere quietER. 3.5 outta 5 for call quality. The extra .5 just for comparative improvement. Now the most important thing, SOUND QUALITY:If you're gonna wonder about fidelity and accuracy, don't even bother. You won't find those in Bluetooth earbuds. Get some IEMs or premium headphones for that. But coming back to Nirvana ion, in the past I have used boAt's wired earphones and I did like them tbh. However, having used IEMs like Truthear and KZ, I feel like these just barely improve the sound quality a little more than the stock earphones. For a beginner they still might sound good tho. Just don't go in with too much expectations cause well, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't be this harsh, but the fact that this is supposed to be a premium line up is triggering tf out of me.Coming back from the unnecessary rant, the overall sound has a warm tone. Won't tire your ears with the tinny treble. Does have a V-shaped sound signature, as in the bass is emphasised more than the mids and the highs. However the bass ain't super nice either, it's like they just thought bass equals to louder thumping. Works a bit better on classical instruments compared to JBL. However, if you're a bass guy this ain't it. Leaves a lot to be desired. 3/5 for sound quality. Kinda disappointed.Overall? Much better than OnePlus r2, kinda like realme t110 and not as good as Oppo enco. My suggestion? Add a bit more and just go for JBL. Those guys know indeed know sound and bass. If you're an avid music listener and don't mind wires, just go for a decent wired IEM. Might as well purchase an external DAC if you've got that extra green paper 😂Also, do yourself a favor and switch from Spotify to Apple music. Ik, off topic, but you'll thank me.
