Keto strips can be a frustrating subject so thought I'd leave a review of the purchase I recently made from Ketone Supplies Group. I received a batch of 30 genuine Abbott strips. The expiration date is almost a year out from my purchase, so no surprises. These don't need to be coded (there was a time when Abbott strips came with a special coding stick that had to be inserted into the Precision Xtra device first, maybe some still do. These strips do not need that.) And these I think are giving accurate readings -- the readings are right in line with the level of ketosis I'd expect based on past experience and my current diet.And finally, I'm happy with the price of about $1 per strip. If you're new to the keto lifestyle you may not know that just a few years ago Abbott strips were more than $5 a pop on Amazon -- And when they're that precious, a failed reading is quite painful, and it inhibits your ability to experiment on how your ketosis levels will vary and how certain foods will affect you. But I can burn dollar bills all day.

Use these to monitor a severely diabetic cat that suffered through a really bad DKA bout, so I was anxious to receive these and start home monitoring. Got the strips very quickly, they were in great shape, and after a few months they are still working very well. The only complaint I have is that they are pretty hard to open and taking scissors to open a strip as expensive as these is a little frightening, but that is not the suppliers fault. Will absolutely order more from here.

I remember paying almost $5 a test. Now these are down to about $1 a test. Can’t complain.
