Q: Do you have to tuck the net around the mattress? how does that part work?

Q: will this stay in place on top of a full size bed?

It will just hang off the sides and you may have to push it to the edge on one side so you can get in and out of it and then put a chair or something on the other side to hold it up, but it will still keep the bugs out.

Q: Will it stop bed bugs from biting me at night?

Dear Danna, thank you for your question. The bottom of this Mosquito Pop Up Net is entirely netted, so fully enclosed. It has a mesh of 380, that means 380 holes per square inch. One hole is 0.04 inch. The smallest bed bug is 0.09 inch. So bed bugs should not be able to go through the holes.
