A solid unit and improvement over the original lock. Interested in the battery pack as it can get through batteries. Whilst showing high % on my particular install the lock is a bit tight so the battery needs to be really good and full. After about 70% they are working but might not lock properly. This is due to my door and lock though being quite tight.Integrates well with Home Assistant and the main app is also very good.I like the peace of mind and the instant alerts through the app. If the lock is not used or door is open. Or if the lock doesn’t work.The keypad set up is really good too with the fingerprint scanning.

Literally changed our barrel of a eurolock with thumb turn key to a two sided regular key one, in order to fit this! But it was a game changer for my elderly mum. She now can use her fingerprint to get in the house and does not have to fiddle about trying to find a key to put in her lock (under her handle which is already shaded and therefore difficult to see!). You can add up to 100 users. The quality is good and it appears sturdy, I'm pretty DIY competent so I changed the barrel to make it work, if you have a thumb turn key, and you have to change the eurolock barrel watch youtube videos, you can buy a replacement for about £12 from B&Q. You do need to be tech savvy to set this up, my husband and & calibrated this for my mum, she would never have been able to do this alone. But we found it easy to fit, easy to use my elderly mum to use (which is amazing) and we've set it to lock 1 minute after she gets in, so great lock functionality. She can now never forget her key, and it won't matter if she forgets to lock the door...

First time using a SwitchBot device, moving from the Yale brand of smart locks.The device is somewhat bulky, where it does fit on my lock I feel the well that the lock fits on to (grub screw) could be a little deeper. Otherwise it does fit just looks somewhat out of place as it does not fit flush to the lock body.It was easy to install took 3 minutes at most. Due to the lock depth issue it does feel a little flimsy.The hub though is where my frustrations begin , it does not support WiFi 7 in any capacity as such I had to disable this on my router falling back to WiFi 6 meaning in order to use this device I have to sacrifice my network speeds.The lock itself responds quickly when pressing the button and the auto lock feature works well.My only annoyance is the nfc tags (brought separately ) when scanned do not automatically unlock or lock the door, you have to interact with the notification that then opens the app and then unlocks the door. If this could be overcome and I could just scan the nfc tag and then then the lock opened without further interaction on my phone that would be great.

I love my switch bot and this power pack makes it even more reliable. I'm using it now for more than 4 months and one battery is still at 100%, the other at 88%.

I purchased this item to replace a Nuki lock which we found to be tempremental and ate batteries like candy. Initially I was very happy with the lock and the keypad. However after two months the keypad stopped working. It still reads fingerprints but no longer will open with the codes assigned to users. I contacted customer support on 9th January 2025 and its now 30th January and the situation has not be resolved. This is because they take 4/5 days (yes you read that right) to read an email and respond which you respond to only for the to reply asking for another piece of information.If reliablity and help when things go wrong is important to you don't buy this product.

Excellent!A gadget that even ‘the other half’ loves!I have the switchbot pro lock & keypad.Overall I am very happy and it’s a purchase that benefits the whole family.I do tend to have to recalibrate every 8 weeks or so , after getting notifications on the app about a jam etc. But on the whole, it works excellently. I have never been locked out. My teenage kids use it to get in after school. Also , I used temporary codes to allow access for people to feed our cats when we are away.Battery life is good. We have changed the batteries once after about 6 months but we are a house of 6 so lots of comings & goings.
