Very nice keyboard. Key clicks are excellent nice thonky sound when typing, love the form factor for saving space on my desk. Has a very solid and well built feeling and premium packaging and construction. I did have a bit of getting used to the 96% style, things being a bit more cramped on the right side, but I'm sure I would get used to it over time. The only thing that made the keyboard a no go for me was that the symbols under the number keys are not backlit and they are very small and printed without much contrast. So when my room wasn't well lit, I couldn't read them at all. The whole point of the RGB pass thru keys for me is to make the keyboard usable at night and I couldn't read those keys at all. Not sure why ASUS didn't choose to have those symbols backlit. If you are a gamer, I'm sure you would love these SNOW keys and the whole layout of the keyboard. But for me, I need to use the symbols a lot for non gaming tasks and I just couldnt get past that one issue.

I've been using ASUS products for a VERY long time now... I was in the market for a new keyboard for a new build and just happened to find this ROG STRIX SCOPE II 96 - it ticked all the boxes for me and even added a few I didn't even know I needed or wanted! The "Tri-Mode" options (allowing me to use the keyboard wired, Bluetooth (up to THREE devices), and 2.4GHz wireless) really makes this beast shine (literally). The variety of colors and per-key configurability is fantastic, although I'm not a fan of the Armoury Crate software at all. I stumble through it and end up getting everything configured how I want, but the software itself is just awful... full of bloat and a bunch of garbage I don't want nor need - tons of services and processes running in the background that I don't care for.That said, the keyboard is absolutely great! The smaller form factor does take a weeeee bit to get used to, but once you've re-trained your muscle memory, it's pretty smooth sailing. I'm on the fence as to whether to use the palm rest or not - but it's magnetic and VERY easily removed or re-added at will. The action of the keys feels like butter - one of the nicer boards I've used. I love the lighting options and configurability. Multi-device support is SOLID and just works. I honestly highly recommend this keyboard. It's so good, I can't even justify taking a star away for the bloaty software!

Build quality is sturdy and premium, and I love that it looks sleek without being over the top gamer-y. If you're looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard that delivers on both performance and looks, this one’s a solid pick. The snow keys I got sound amazing, almost makes me want to type just to hear how satisfying it is. I tried the storm keys as well but I didn't really like the clicky sound that some gamers love, so i kept this one ( though the feel of the storm was still very nice.I paired it with a ROG Keris wireless mouse and I can pair them both to the same Omni Dongle that is included, so its super convenient to only have to worry about one usb port being used on my laptop (though i can easily flip and switch on the back and go fully wired with the provided usb-c when a competitive game calls for it. Also has a Bluetooth mode if you aren't bothered by the slight latency that it inevitably happens with any BT device.At this point I've only ever been impressed by Asus's ROG line and I will be sticking with them for years to come. I cant speak to the longevity of the battery life as I've only been using it for about a week but I can say that a single charge lasts me multiple days of heavy use and I'm sure if it could go for a week or more with less usage and lower rbg brightness.Each of the 5 stars is greatly deserved. I'm sure Ill be using this keyboard for years.

Have used this daily for gaming and work for a while. Wonderful kb, very responsive. Packs all the keys I need into a small footprint (I hate big boards). It is pretty noisy but I don’t mind it, I like a keyboard with noise feedback… disconnects from bluetooth on occasion, maybe 2-3 times per month; much better to use with the included wireless adapter. Lights up nicely.The software that you can install with it uses a lot of resources and I recommend disabling it from starting upon system startup. Use it to check for driver updates and that’s about it, the software stinks for anything else.

I thought most people are just praising the asus because it’s an asus. Waited 2 weeks before I post this. I do play a couple of games but I write a ton of code. The Amazon usability is second to none. I did not expect this at all to be honest. Love the click sound as well , as I am typing if there is no click it means I missed something before I continue typing the rest of a possibly 1000 lines php script. It’s such a joy to use. So this one is a keeper and just ordered the higher up one as well for my second desk top. So the Azoth arrived tomorrow. Can’t wait. Seriously. They are pricy: you get every penny’s worth. Had the Logitech x915. Great keyboard. Slim. Awesome. The asus is just better in my opinion. I may buy another 915 dut to its incredible high grade contraction and slim style but will go with the G G X 915 (usb-c not the micro usb) and have the best of everything. Can do three? Get this. The azuth. And the gg x915.

Excellent keyboard. In dire need of dedicated home/end keys.The keyboard is super responsive and quiet (for a mechanical keyboard). But the lack of dedicated home/end/print sc keys is maddening. It detracts from an otherwise magical keyboard.
