I bought this equipment recently with full trust because ifootage makes high quality things an this is no exception. If you are a in videography field, especially directing footage, this investment will help you out with smooth operation combining three axes. You can record movement tracks and this device will playback exactly the movement previously made on that three axes. It has also time lapse features and more.. There is only one thing that is missing, but I imagine that is a matter of time until ifootage will make this happen through a firmware update because it seem to be so easy to implement it and so much usefulness!I was fully convinced that you could set an A point(with exact location in all three axes(position on slider, pan position, and tilt position), and a B point with other exact location, and entering a time variable, the S1A3 will make a fully automatic transition from point A to point B, and why not to point C. You could do almost the same thing in manually mode, but only with many previously tests and an increased attention to joysticks.. (you will loose precious time during video session and probably you will not succeed like an automatic mode with fade in, fade out etc..)I can barely wait for this software update for S1A3! This will make the equipment even more valuable than it is already!Bottom line - I have no regrets buying this product, I highly recommend it to professionals, and I hope the ifootage will fulfill this common wish of S1A3 owners( there are more like me waiting for this firmware update)

I recently bought this for some video projects and after quite some tests, I concluded that it is a great device if you know some tricks to get it work optimally. I highly recommend that you go to YouTube for several videos that are posted on this model. They are very helpful in terms of getting you on the right track in setting things up quickly. I took the long way of figuring things out on my own.One small note is that the belt can be a little loosened if you don't do a good job securing it, which will affect how the cameras are moving.Overall, as the other reviewer suggested, I hope that the company will have firmware update to make the controller even more functional!
