This is an awesome device. Our neighborhood retention pond had serious algae issues but this device makes it completely manageable now. It is well designed, well built and easy to use. Thank you for a great product!

Works great at getting that top algae off the top surface of the pond.

It works but does not hold much, anymore than 15’-20’ pull does not capture anymore duckweed. The plan was to pull across the pond width but with this limited capacity it’s very labor intensive. May be better if there isn’t much or it’s in a limited area.

The DeSkuzzer does exactly as its advertised to do, it removes floating weeds/debris from your pond. Its very easy to use, light enough to really heave it out there and collects a lot of duck weed in one shot. One tip: the DeSkuzzer will collect everything on the surface of your pond including tadpoles and fish if they get in the way. We solved this easily by dumping the DeSkuzzer into a flat bottom cart with pond water in it. The weeds went to the top, the fish and tadpoles to the bottom. We threw out the weeds and dumped the water back into the pond saving our fish and frogs. The rest makes for amazing compost. Even if you are going to use a chemical product to remove weeds from your pond, highly recommend doing this first to remove some bulk if you have a lot of cover from duckweed etc to avoid fish kill from all of the dead debris leeching oxygen from your water as they decompose. Very happy with our purchase.

The media could not be loaded. This thing works great on the algae in my pond. Wish the net was a bit bigger for the algae collection but an awesome tool. I’ll be getting another one for wife so she can help out.

It does a good job of removing duck weed from my pond.

Duckweed has been the worst it's ever been on my ranch in Texas. I ordered this to help remove and control the duck weed until I install my fountains. It is pretty heavy duty and the weight is manageable for a few hours. When pulling it in, do it slow and let the duckweed drain before trying to lift it move to move or dump out. It is easy enough to learn how to throw to function properly and the size of the net is large enough to make a dent in the duckweed population. I will be posting a tutorial and more content on this on my storefront.
