It works. It's a strip of cloth with a V cut to allow for the bridge of your nose. The version in the picture looks better than the thin version I got. It is soft and comfortable.What's troublesome is it's exactly what I asked for. It works okay for sleeping. But if you are looking for a better night's sleep, you would be wise to buy the shapely kind that are meant for blacking out all light. I purchased this as an experiment. It's great for what it is, and I can't blame the manufacturer for my mistakes.

It’s very soft, long enough to use as a makeshift hand restraint, and looks good. I just didn’t realize she was going to be able to see out of the bottom with it tied over her eyes

For the price this can't be beat. It is so soft and fits over the eyes perfectly. There's even a cutout for the nose. It blocks out virtually all of the light in the room which is great. It has MANY different functions whether you're trying to sleep or trying to do other things :) . It's very soft yet VERY durable as my wife and I put it to the test!! Again, for the price you couldn't ask for a better sleeping mask, great value!
