One thing I noticed with my camera the boot time is like nine seconds so the updates they’ve done obviously took care of that. Really happy with it.The only thing that is an issue is battery life.I just bought a few extra batteries to take care of that problem. The video quality is amazing very sharp very impressive. Looks 4K to me extremely happy buy it you’ll be happy!

This really is like an adult View Master. It is so much fun and the video quality is really incredible for 3d. I was going to view the video on my old Samsung Gear headset but alas, my old Note 8 phone that goes in the headset is crashing so that's a no go. Would be nice to have more ways to view this video other than the small viewer this comes with and without having to buy the Meta VR headset. Right now this is totally just an expensive hobby for tech geeks. Unfortunately the extremely short battery life makes it difficult for real world use. No way 30 minutes is enough and the constant battery dying out is obnoxious even if you had spare batteries (though they are cheap to buy $20). Difficult to justify spending so much when it takes so much effort to use and view.

The media could not be loaded. Since this camera has an overall 3.9* rating, & everyone else seems to like it, I wanted to make sure that I documented my complete failure working with it, so I took a video using this camera. I also took a video with my GoPro 9 Black shooting in 4K, but couldn't get it uploaded. & the GoPro costs LESS as well!Worst problem is that I could NOT get it to show properly in 3D – see my video. Yes – the viewfinder does seem to work, but it’s uncomfortable to use for > a few seconds @ a time, & I REFUSE to buy a supposedly-3D camera that won’t allow me to copy 3D photos & videos to my computer for viewing. & yes – I tried wearing a pair of 3D glasses that I hoped would work, & that work great with every other 3D movie that I have, but wouldn’t work in this case.So, total of 3* off:1) 3D functionality doesn’t work2) Viewfinder is awkward to use, & seems to be the only way to view 3D videos properly.3) Smartphone app is difficult to pair with the camera, & the app videos just made me dizzy.NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

I had tried one of these cameras a year or so ago, and it had so many issues that I returned it. I decided to give one another try this past Christmas and I'm happy to say the company has pretty much rectified all of the prior issues with the camera. It takes great photos and videos; for the best results, set the exposure for either 1/120s or 1/250s, *NOT* Auto. Otherwise you'll get a lot of out of focus or blurred results from subject movement. The Auto Focus works well, too, and the battery life has greatly increased from the older models. Overall, a great 3D pocket camera that's easy to carry and use.

This 3D camera with the viewer are the great combination. You can see your 3D photos in LIVE View or playback instantly. This is the one I've been wating for. The battey life is so terrible, just holding the camera and you can see the battery dropping in percentage. It is defintely replace your ViewMaster!!! still playing with it.__________________**** Update on 1/9/2025 *****I have not used it for a while. Decide to use it. Plug the camera directly to the USB charger. About 5 minutes, I can smell the burn. Found out that it was from the camera. Unplug, removed the battery. It was hot on the battery as well as the camera. The heat destroyed one of the lens.Contact Amazon, they said NO THING they can do after more than 180 days purchased. Contact manufacture. They are from Hong Kong, they want me to send the defective camera over with battery. for inspection or repair. I told them I will not be able to send the battery due to over sea. LUCKLY, I was at home at the time. Otherwise it will burn out the house. Thanks Amazon for selling this product.

Fun to use, still have to down load the app to perform updates. But reminds me of the old school viewfinders.

Qoocam Ego is a fun camera, but nothing professional and not very versatile. It's is fun to take photos and 1080p videos with friends and family. The view finder adapter is good to view your shots in 3D. The camera does not feel finished, but Qoocam has made updates to it.Pros:- Fun to take 3D photos and videos.- Small and easy to carry.- Adapter view finder makes it easy to view.- Easy to post to social media via app.- water proof.Cons:- Photos and video are adequate, but sub-par.- Need a 3D device to share ( eg. VR goggles)- Slow to shoot and battery does not last long.- Parallax not as profound.- No auto focus and needs to be pointed straight ( defocuses when looking down or up).- For the price better getting 4k action camera.

I have been a long time stereo picture enthusiast, and this Kandau EGO digital camera/viewer combination is actually quite good, and exceeded my expectations. This type of thing has been a long time coming, and hopefully will catch on commercially. I think for the mass market it is still a bit pricey, but possibly price will come down over time. Overall, I give it a thumbs up for the stereo picture hobbyist.
