Buy these every year or so for the trees in the garden. They seem to be helping. Our trees are fairly new but have been doing great and weve gotten a few cherries.I like how easy they are to use, i use a small mallet to put them in the ground after a good rain. No problems even with clay heavy soil.This year is the first year the package came without the cap for keeping the hammer damage down. Im not sure if ours was just missing or they dont come with the caps any more. The package was unopened when we got it so who knows. I was able to get them in the ground but a couple ended up splintered.

The 12 fertilizer stakes were fine (I hope!), but they only give you 2 plastic end caps to fit over the stakes so you can hammer the stakes into the ground. Both of my plastic end caps broke the first time I used them and then I had to hammer the fertilizer stakes using the broken caps. My previous purchases have included one plastic end cap for each stake. I'm guessing the company chose to cut costs to make a bigger profit.

Great product, keeps your trees nice and healthy and its help my trees bloom. Will be purchasing again good price.
