Each DIY box comes with 8 pieces of SLiPLO with dimensions of 12”L x 1.5”W x 0.25”H which equal a total of 8’ long and enough to protect the front row of almost any car. Q: Hi there, is there any risk installing Sliplo in a recent repainted bumper? My bumper was painted 3 days ago.

Thank you for the question. We suggest waiting for the paint to cure before applying any adhesive products. Most paint manufacturers recommended 30-90 days for paint to fully cure. As you give your paint more time to cure the SLiPLO will have a higher chance of sitting on a solid surface. Let me know if that answers your question?

Q: Would it adhère better if I sanded the surface slightly rather than applying the strip to smooth paint?

I would suggest placing it directly on the smooth painted surface. Sanding a smooth paint can do more harm in adhering.

Q: Can you install this without lifting the car or taking the bumper off?

Yes you can do it but it’s a little pain in the neck need to lifting the car a little bit
