Got these as a gift for an engineer. These are durable and look exactly like a board. They won't stain from what I can tell, and the color is very accurate.With that being said, these aren't absorbing anything. They are really cute and will keep your table from getting scratched up or getting water directly on it, but condensation from a cup will get on the coaster. But these are still functional. I didn't get them to be the perfect coaster, I got them for my boyfriend who loves his boards. And he loved them.

They look really… gamer-chic. My husband loves them, I bought them for his desk so he can put his drink down while using his computer.

I got these as a stocking stuffer for my computer programmer boyfriend and have to admit I was kinda nervous about them because I thought they looked cool (and nerdy) but I am by no stretch of the imagination a tech person. Well thankfully, to my surprise, he was actually super stoked about them! He said they were made of real circuits and I guess even the material of the coaster is what you would find in a computer or something? I'm really not sure, but he genuinely thought they were really awesome, and as a layperson I can say they did look even cooler than I expected so that was also a pleasant surprise!

Condensation tends to pool at the bottom of the drink creating a suction between the coaster and the cup, which means the coaster sometimes comes with the cup when you pick the cup up. Other than that, great coaster, very cool design.

Looks slick on my desk, and is a amusing point for office small talk icebreaker.

Bought these as a gift for my gamer son and he loved them. They are nicely made and very cool looking. They will serve as a coaster but aren't absorbent since the surface is basically solid plastic. That said, these were a fun gift that I would purchase again.

My boyfriend is a software engineer and I bought these as a gift. He liked them so much, that he wanted to bring them into his work. The sleek metal style is awesome. It comes with adhesive pads for the corners, but you don’t have to attach them, they work either way. Haven’t used personally, so I’m not sure how functional or durable they are yet.
