Insert key into ignition and remove it from the ignition key cylinder at least six times within 10 seconds. Your Hazard Lamps will flash if you have performed this step successfully. NOTE: Withdraw key completely from ignition cylinder each time. If this procedure is performed too fast, system will not enter programming mode.3. Insert key into the ignition cylinder and turn to the ACC position.4. Within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the remote transmitter. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. NOTE: Do not press the button more than one time in the above step. If the button is pressed more than one time, the programming procedure will not be successful.5. If there are any remaining transmitters (including the old ones), unlock then lock all doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch and within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the next remote. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. Repeat this step for each transmitter (including any existing transmitters).6. Turn the key to the OFF position, remove keys from the ignition, unlock doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch and open the driver side door.

Get the key fobs!! Youtube will show you how to set them up even if it says you "need a locksmith" chances are you do not! I recommend looking it up BEFORE purchasing. It was easy to do even if it was over complicated with the steps. I accidently washed mine which is how I came across these.

There are programming instructions you must follow in order to make this device work! To receive the instructions, you will first go to a webpage link. There are a few different links printed on the outside of the packaging, so pay attention to what you’re typing in. If you throw away the outer packaging, you’re screwed. Two of the links led me to a page that asked for credit card information. Don’t submit any personal details! They’re garbage links. Navigate AWAY from them. Eventually, you’ll get to a YouTube tutorial (which should’ve been the ONLY link offered in the first place.) Tap on the video, and watch. If you follow the tutorial exactly, the new fob magically works. Superficially, the product perfectly mimics my worn out Nissan fob.

WOW dealership quoted me $250 Per remote, ordered these figured if they didn’t work oh well. Literally took me 3 minutes watching a YouTube video step by step to program both remotes. We have a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder. So simple and now we have two remotes that work great. Highly recommend.

Don't throw away the shipping envelope as it has the website addresses with instructions on how to program them. I found the "keyfobprogram" web address to be easiest.Read the instructions about three times, and then made sure I knew which direction my switch needed to go to lock and unlock the doors (important in programming). Nailed it on first attempt! Once I started the process, took me about 1 minute to program all 3 remotes (the 2 new ones, and my 1 remaining original) . They all worked afterwards.Key shop wanted $70 for 1 remote, I got 2 here for under $13, with the batteries already installed. Great deal!
