I had two of these, one as a gift and one I bought for myself. Both stopped working after 1 or 2 weeks. Do not buy this humidifier. It will only last a couple weeks then breaks.

Absolutely unreal. Posted my review several weeks ago with this FAILED order. Long story short, during the brutally cold NY winters I need to keep my skin fresh and hydrated...so I order (what looks to be) an amazing (and primed) humidifier. Well 3 weeks go by and amazon tells me that REIDEA no long sells this product. Yes, amazon took care of me, by REIDEA is going to have my skin shriveled up and looking like a raisin with their customer service. Save yourself and your skin.

I have purchased hundreds of items through Amazon. This is the first time I have received a faulty product. The item was supposed to be in a box from the the manufacturer with a manual. Instead it was in an Amazon box only. No manual. I filled it with water and plugged it in. All the light indicators worked I monitored it for 24 hours No mist. No steam. The unit did not work. I wonder if it had actually been returned to Amazon by a previous customer. I am irritated that I have to spend money and time to return it.

This has worked wonders for me. The air has been so dry and all of my clothes have been sticking to me. Once I plugged this in, I noticed a change within the hour. Setting it up was fairly simple - I love the design (exactly as pictured). However, I did notice that the motor/fan got a little louder within a week of using it. I don't mind, but others might be bothered by it if they use it while they are sleeping or trying to sleep. Even though I use it most of the day, I only have to refill the reservoir every other day, which is not bad considering I have the mist set at "high."

This humidifier is quiet, holds a lot of water, easy to use, and is quite sleek. However, this humidifier lasted me only one winter f and had to be thrown out afterward. Whatever heating element that is used inside of the humidifier is incompatible with the black (plastic ?) parts which seemed to bubble and then flake off into the water of the humidifier. Upon noticing the flakes in the humidifier water I became concerned about the safety of the device both in terms of overheating or catching fire and in terms of the toxcity of the water vapor that I was now breathing in.

We’ve had ours for going on two years and it still works just fine. I was actually looking to buy a second one for this dry winter season and saw it’s no longer available and, to my surprise, had bad reviews. We haven’t had any problems, I just wish the sensor for low water supply was lower so it didn’t leave 2ish” of water in the bottom making us have to refill more often. Other than that one complaint I love the look and it does a great job.

I purchased this humidifier mainly due to convenience of use, and to add a fragrance oil to my kitchen. It works great so far, as my entire kitchen smells wonderful. I think the clean up may be more, but so worth it. It is really quiet, and easy to move, fill, and clean. I would highly recommend this product. It is more attractive on a table as well, then most humidifiers out there.

Doesn’t work at all ! Had it in a very tiny room at the max humidity (80%) running for 8 hours and it never even reached 40% humidity. Purchased new and it was obviously opened and used previously. Really bad performance and falsely advertised as brand new. For the price and size it should at least perform as well as my cheap , tiny humidifier from a different company... not even close!
