This particular brand has a finer mesh than most, this should keep the baby midges out. I already have a safari hat from a previous holiday, this fits perfectly over the wide brim. Vision using it is excellent.

I was worried after some of the reviews said it was small, but it went over my wide brimmed hat easily. I’m taking it to Australia so it’s not needed for midges, just flies and mosquitoes.

I have had this for a year now. So it's time for a review. This has been a great buy. I use it for work. It's large size allows it to be put over work helmets eg chainsaw helmets.Enables you to keep working with power tools even when the bugs are swarming around. Also keeping leaves twigs from your head.I would like to see some type of clip on it so it could be attached to a hat when not in use. I usually roll it up and keep it on the hat but in wind it can blow off.

This is a very comfortable size and easily covered my hat and tucked into my clothes. And it was quite easy to see out of.However I bought it to go to Scotland and unfortunately the holes are unbelievably just too large. The Scottish midges came straight through.We had to buy new nets from Smidge which had much more dense weave, hard to see out of but more effective.

I know, what's to hate about a teeny tiny aphid, harmless unless you're a vegetable right? Well in the grand scheme of things you're right there are no records of humans being taken down by aphids BUT my experience is they go for the eyes (why do they do that) and that irritates the hell out of me! So when I saw the mobile mossie net I thought "that is what I need" . It arrived when promised and I installed it onto my bush(gardening)hat and I set forth into the deepest darkest jungliest (is that a word?) part of my garden where I faced all manner of wildlife, flies, wasps, spiders and the webs left to ensnare me, gnats (who makes these names up?) And of course my nemesis the whiteflies but they hadn't expected the "mossie net" and they were completely flummoxed by this new weapon in my arsenal and I laughed in the face of all insectkind and just then my wife shouted me and told me it was time for my medication. I like it and it doesn't poke me in the eyes like dangly corks.

Purchased this net to replace an earlier purchase which was too small for my sister's wide brimmed hat. It comes with its own little bag and I was so pleased with it I purchased another for myself. This is the one to buy, forget the others.
