Nordic Pure 16x25x4 (15_1/2 x 24_1/2 x 3_5/8) Pleated MERV 13 Air Filters 2 Pack

I've ordered Nordic Pure filters for our old HVAC system and the new one we had installed a year ago. The filter seems to be well-made and lasts just as long as the competing brands. One thing I did notice with the new 4" filters I bought was that even though the dimensions are the same as the Honeywell filter in the new system, the Nordic Pure filters were a little shorter. They fit in the system just fine but they don't fit snugly. It's probably not anything to worry about but it was an observation I made.

These fit into my AprilAire filter slot as a fraction of the cost. At first I was dubious - I don’t believe it is worthwhile to save money if the product is sub-par or doesn’t perform as expected. I have been using this brand for a number of years now. The gentleman who comes annually to inspect/tuneup our furnace said that this brand is doing a great job. The inside of the furnace was clean. There is a bit of a small gap which I wish did not exist. I’d like to think that every last bit of air is being thoroughly filtered. The charcoal is a nice touch. I highly recommend this product.

They are slightly smaller than the stated dimensions, which is what my furnace demands. I've been using them for several years and continue to order them. They work!

Had I read enough about these filters I would have realized they are actually smaller than the standard size. The specs in the descriptions to indicate this although the primary description does not. When I look for 16" x 25" x 4" that was what I expected to receive. Also had to go to the NordicPure website to verify the MERV rating as it in not indicated on the filter in any manner. (It is color coded and in fact I did receive the MERV 12 that I expected).The smaller filter size allows for airflow around the filter. In our home it is paramount to reduce the amount of dust and particulates. My way around this was to install standard weatherstripping foam to the long sides of the filter. It definitely helped with the fit in our Trion Air Bear furnace.Time will tell on the performance of the filters. I, however, will not be buying them again. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

Extremely disappointed in this item. The two air filters arrived unwrapped in a big smelly box. Past purchases of this exact item were always wrapped in plastic wrap of some kind and didn't smell. These smelled of Febreeze and/or insecticide. I am hesitant to place them even near the furnace for fear that they will make the air smell terribly. No value for. money spent as they will most likely be put in the trash rather than put to use. Awful stinky smell. Very BAD. Would give zero stars if that were possible.

This was easy to install. Normally when we run the heat the air quality is horrible, but not with these! The dander and dog hair all filtered out plus the smoke. The efficiency of our furnace is running better and the function of the filtration has saved us money on gas as well as allergy products in just a couple weeks! I recommend this product

When we first moved in we had a dusty ventilation system. I, unfortunately, am allergic to dust. This causes chronic breathing problems like bronchitis and asthma like symptoms, respiratory illness, sinus infections, allergy attacks.Once we got the system cleaned, we were using those brown cardboard ones that came with the house and found they didn't really work. We went to the hardware store, that sounds like Rome Meepo, and bought some "allergy" filters that also didn't really work. The higher rated ones were super expensive, so expensive it was an issue. I found these on Amazon and thought to give them a try, they had other ratings online that were pretty satisfied. Now I'm one of those other people reviewing them and telling you I am very satisfied. These came in a 2 pack for a little less than $40, and definitely worth it for the giant filters we need.

Good two pack for the price. Works well and easy to use.
