Well this scoop is blue and it is a scoop however it is flimsy to say the least and I hope it holds up. I have no idea how this received any 5 stars at all really. The scoop in the advertisement had writing/a name in it and this one does not. I can only figure that they are changing it out for a cheaper one now that they have 5 star reviews/nice scam.......

This is a cute scoop and I'd be happy with it except for the under side of the handle. It is open with plastic ridges along the back. It's uncomfortable, as your fingers go in the spaces randomly.

This is not 1 cup. I use it for dog food and it took me a few days to realize that it's almost 2 cups at the 1 cup line!

This food scoop has changed the lives of many dogs across the planet. When I recently purchased one and brought it into my kennel, it was like a prophet had entered the facility and every dog now bows to the overpriced piece of petroleum like it is a demi-God of sorts.Seriously folks...it is a plastic dog scoop.

I tested the measurement against an actual measuring cup, and the 1c line on the scoop measured 1.5c of food. This is a misleading measurement device and will result in over-feeding. Don't advise purchasing.

The "1/2 cup" line is actually closer to 1 cup and the "1 cup" line is actually more like 1 1/2 cups. We were wondering why our 4 month old puppy wasn't eating all of her food and then we realized it's because we've actually been giving her the equivalent of almost 7 cups of food per day.

I am actually using this as a litter scoop for my rats. It makes cleaning and resetting the cage so much easier.

Very good use. Using for fireplace pellets. Working great.
