I used this to wrap the handles of my little picnic basket—its handles were left a little rough. It was a cheaply made basket, not sanded or polished, which was okay and to be expected. I could always sand and paint a finish, but wrapping this cotton rope over it makes it look a bit more interesting and feels nicer. I have plenty left over if I ever need to replace it, so overall, satisfied with this.

Received absolutely dirty and dull looking 4 small bundles of cotton rope that have nothing to do with this listing or the image. I was so shocked that I threw the packet in my store room and only now realise that I could have returned or replaced it, but now it says unavailable. I have been fully cheated of my money. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS.

Not as expected

Even after reading reviews, I took a chance. Kinda disappointed. First off, it's a much smaller roll than the photo looks, and now seeing it in person there's no way it is 8mm in thickness, I'd say it's more 4 or 6mm. And I will have to measure, but honestly the size of the roll makes me feel like there's less than the stated 59ft. Might do ok for smaller projects but not for what I needed it for. The cotton rope I got from the dollar store is larger and better quality than this.
