I bought this product after our first camping trip at the end of May, when the mosquitoes were terrible. My husband and I, ended up needing them on our next trip a week later. We used the netting over our hats when taking walks around the campground and when we went kayaking. The fit was perfect and the netting did what it was meant to do. When we were far enough away from shore while kayaking we just flipped the netting up away from our faces. The little bag that is included can be easily tucked into a pocket. I plan to keep this product in my backpack. Highly recommend!

It does have some wrinkles when it hangs off your hat but I think they all would. I don't know how they could make it better. I got the black - the natural might have been a little better for seeing out although I can see quite well out of it. I use it while bike riding because I kept swallowing bugs and will use it while out fishing as needed. It does the job - great not having bugs and mosquitoes around face!

So far, I've used this in the yard -- where gnats have seemed particularly ferocious this year -- with great success. Gnats (and obviously mosquitoes) have been kept from my face and neck while my hands are busy with landscaping tasks.The net fits easily over my Tilley (wide brim) hat, which keeps the netting off my face as well.I've not had the opportunity to use this on a hike/photo shoot, but I expect the performance to be good and am ordering two more just to keep in our backpacks.

I like this item because it's big enough and long enough to fit over my brimmed hat and reach my shoulders comfortably. The netting is blacker than pictured, however, so not as see through as I had hoped. But I'm keeping it anyway, because it's needed when I garden.

Really happy with this purchase. I was swatting flies like crazy every time I went to do something in my yard and decided I needed something to help. This is great - it fits comfortably over a safari hat type thing and there is plenty of net to tuck into my jacket for face and neck coverage, and it is cinchable. It's lightweight, I can see totally fine when wearing it, and can also tell occasionally that flies are coming at me, but they don't bother me at all. Oh, and it comes with a cute little storage bag.I just keep the net on the hat so it's ready to go every time I go to work outside.5/5 would recommend!

Freedom from pests AT LAST! I mow a large lawn, I mean LARGE, and it’s so hilly and bumpy in places (around tgree hones and three outbuildings) that it cannot be completed in a day. So it’s two plus hours a day, four days a week all season. The non-biting insects that swarm from the lawn have long found me waving with one hand while steering with the other. I tried a sporting goods store’s green mesh but it obscured my vision too much (photo attached) and left my neck exposed.Problem solved with longer, fine black shroud. The last photo is taken FROM INSIDE the shroud, looking through to the barn with my phone resting against my nose. I’m delighted to thwart the little buggers flying in my face and have abandoned waving. Both hands are on the wheel!

This item is a life saver, it is very comfortable, light and very easy to wear. We have a lot of mosquitoes and yellow flies in our location and my wife and I both wear this every time we go outside our garden and backyard. The material is solid, fits just right and it really protects your head all the way down your neck. It also looks good and easy to store when you are done. Highly recommended!
