CadburyCrunchie, 1.41 Ounce (Pack of 12)

This is my favorite chocolate. A fun, classic treat that stands out among chocolate bars. Perfect if you love a bit of crunch and don’t mind the sugar rush. It is the perfect size.

I have ordered Crunchies from this seller four times now and each time, the candy has arrived from the UK more quickly than anticipated. It's fresh and delicious and mostly intact (a few of the bars are inevitably broken in half - but they're coming from overseas so this is understandable). These are full size Crunchies and they taste just they way they would if you bought them at a shop in London. I've seen some other reviews comparing Crunchies unfavorably to Violet Crumbles from Australia, describing them as "burnt" or "bitter". To my taste, Violet Crumbles are cloyingly sweet with little distinguishing flavor aside from sugar. And they are coated in a chocolate flavored substance with an artificial aftertaste. Crunchies are covered in delicious Cadbury milk chocolate and the honeycomb candy in Crunchies tastes exactly as honeycomb is supposed to taste -- caramelized toffee flavor -- distinctive and delicious. If this isn't your cup of tea, skip it. But if you're trying to find the Crunchies you remember from your childhood in Leeds or your summer trip to Brighton, you've come to the right place.

I love sponge candy, and I love these. The way they are wrapped, the sponge part stays nice and crisp, which is not always the case when you buy sponge candy from a chocolatier.

These taste exactly as I remember. All too often, foods from our past don't taste nearly as good as we remember. Cadbury Crunchie bars do NOT disappoint. The sponge toffee is explosively crisp, honeyed, and toasty while the chocolate is classic Cadbury—creamy, chocolatey, melty perfection.

The crunchie bar through this vendor is the perfect texture, well package, and tastes great. We have no complaints. I buy for family too. It's so valuable.

I should have realized this by now. When you order Crunchies from Amazon they aren't always "British candy". The bars I received are from Canada and it's essentially not the same candy bar. I get British candy because they do chocolate different than the US. It just seems "fresher" and less waxy/preserved. But holy heck. This candy makes American chocolate look fresh. This stuff is waxy. Doesn't melt. And worse of all. Seems to compress down as you chew it? It's really weird and I would highly suggest not buying this particular SKU for if you're looking for delicious British candy.

I grew up in Canada and always loved Crunchie bars! I was so happy to find them on Amazon, as you can't seem to buy them at stores here, other than sometimes at World Market, and the one in our city closed. They seem a little smaller than the ones I used to get, but it is still awesome to be able to buy them and have them as a treat every so often. They are delicious, and weren't melted when they arrived. I will be purchasing more!
