Value for cost effective replacement Security Seals
These Security Seals are being used as replacements on Fire Extinguisher Pins used on a public Tour Boat. During the season, it is suspected that accidental or mischievous children remove these security seals allowing the pin to come or fall out then creating the possibility of the fire extinguisher being discharged. Having these spare security seals on board allows for immediate replacement.

Fire Extinguisher Tamper Seals
I bought these for the tamper seals on fire extinguishers. I've used others that are very difficult to attach and tighten without breaking the seal. These ones have a superior design and are very easy to attach. These also seem less brittle - others have worn out and broken after a few months outside - i suspect these will perform better

Perfect break away tension, no failures.
I don't know what these people got that are claiming they are brittle and break unintentionally, but all mine worked great and none of the 20 I installed broke. I did test the first one I installed and the seal broke easily enough for anyone older than a small/young child to use.

I USE THESE TO HOLD THE PIN IN FIRE EXTINGUISHERS THEY HOLD FIRMLY AND BREAK OFF WITH ABOUT 5 LBS OF FORCE LIKE THEY SHOULD. THE FLAT TAB IS SMOOTH AND EASY TO WRITE ON WITH A SHARPIE.
