Perfect fit. Easy to install. Worked on the first attempt. Does everything the old one did. Significant weight reduction from the all metal version that wore out. I'd buy another one. Mine did arrive with a broken plastic corner because the item was shipped in the original package versus inside a shipping box. But Amazon gave me a discount for that which was perfect because I didn't have time to wait for an exchange and the broken piece isn't part of the visible exterior once installed.

Bought it to replace power unit that was failing in my 1993 Shasta 245MB and it has resolved every pore issue I had now the 12V Battery is charging from camper not a external battery charger. My 12V lights are brighter and no more overheating battery. My 120V systems are now working together. If I run A/C I couldn't run ANYTHING else not even charge a cell phone without the unit I had overheating and tripping. I also installed new breakers and rewired it properly (Disabled Electrician) and new 12V fuses and I simply love how easy installation and how the layout was. Want a good power system this is the one you need.

I ordered this for my rv I received it and the first thing I noticed was the part number was different from order 8945 pec i got a 8945 ad box was beat up pretty bad and when opened it smelled like burn electronics but took the chance and installed it everything works like it should so the wait is on to see how long it will last this was a good size cabinet replacement for the 6345 model happy to have my battery charging again.

Purchased this to replace the 18 year old converter in my horse trailer. Fit perfectly into the opening and even the screw holes aligned. Old converter was a different brand. This model is much quieter; probably due to the age of my old one, but still much nicer. Husband said it was easy to install.

I am an electrical engineer and long time RVer. The WFCO is the best of the low cost power centers. The integrated switching power supply/battery charger has all of the basic functions needed for maintaining batteries. I have a 400AH 12V battery bank, and my only complaint is the charger doesn't ever reach its full charge current, and changes from bulk to absorption too quickly. This is aggravated by the small battery cables that came standard in my RV, which I plan to change (in my spare time ;-)The case is thin plastic, and you must be careful when installing it. After installed, it seems to hold up just fine. The overall size of the power center is standard for many RVs, making this a great retro-fit for older RVs. The power center uses standard AC circuit breakers that are not included, but are easily found at any hardware store. The DC distribution panel includes fuses, and has a nice touch in that it includes an LED to indicate blown fuses.One nice option is the optional integrated 30 or 50A transfer switch. This makes the overall power center complete and quite useful.There are many better power centers with better features, but none at this low cost.

I don't know why people criticize the plastic. It certainly is tough enough for the job! Made a big difference in my battery care with the higher wattage charger. Works well and fit right in the old hole.

Purchased the converter and warranty 10/19. Figures the warranty expires and the converter died. Should have just returned it when I got it, the packaging was damage but seemed to be no damage to the unit. Found out later there was damage to the cooling fan & mounts.

Works great direct replacement and it was a 45AMP. It works More quietly andit only took 15 or 20 minutes to install start to finished
