Overall great & stylish look for the X100V. The black finish matches the black X100V perfectly.I only have a few criticisms/notes about this lens hood:1) does not work well if you are using the built-in flash of the X100V. Flash will be obscured by the top of the lens hood, causing images to have a strong shadow cast in the lower half of the photo.2) the lens hood can fall off easily. Although the lens hood is of a solid and sturdy build, it tends to slide off rather easily if you're not careful. Keep that in mind.3) yes, attaching the lens hood takes some precision and time to align correctly. I also wish it wasn't like this, but once you have it aligned precisely and locked it, it stays in place. If you remove the lens hood frequently, yeah I can see how this'll be frustrating.If I were to buy another lens hood, I'd go for the hood that extrudes inward, and not this one, purely for the flash.
