My First Book of Korean Words: An ABC Rhyming Book Hardcover – Picture Book, September 10, 2012

It's fun to read as much as to learn. I'm old and learning Korean and it was a sweet lightweight book to have and practice with. It teaches culture, clothes food looks words and language is so much more than just words.

I ordered this book because the artwork first drew me in. I like that this can introduce little kids to foreign languages and can be fun to read. I'm very new to Korean so I thought getting a children's book would be a gentle teacher to help me learn some of the words. My hard back copy was delivered fast and in great condition! The pages are beautifully illustrated and the little notes on the side also teach about the Korean Culture which is very neat! I'm very satisfied with my order!

Adorable book for young children. Happy to find a book with a child that looks like the child that will receive it. There are books for Black and Hispanic children, and lots of books with red-heads and blondes. I'm still looking for a similar book with a Native American child that is NOT a Thanksgiving story. If anyone knows of one, let me know. I would also be happy if I could find a Barbie doll that is Asian-American or Native- American that is not a "theme" or international series doll. The last time I checked, Asian Americans and Native American children wear the same clothes as white, black and brown kids. Hmmm, maybe I need to write my own books. Anyway, the book is sweet and has beautiful illustrations. Any minor errors in the Korean words is outweighed by the uniqueness of the book.

This book is adorable with great pictures and it introduces a little bit of Korean culture, which is great for my young ones because I am Korean American and have not taught Korean as much to my three year old. Now she is showing interest, so I wanted to teach her korean before I send her to Korean school. I bought this book and Tuttle korean for kids flash cards kit. It is working out great. I just wished this book was organized by the korean alphabet not American.

This is the cutest book!! I got it for my nephew’s first birthday. I think he will really love the illustrations, and he and his parents will all enjoy learning more Korean words!

This is a perfect book for children or adults interested in Korean culture, language and vocabulary. Beautifully illustrated and easy to understand.

Illustration is fun but the content about Korea is whatever. Not very informative nor creative.

Great book for English as their first language trying to teach Korean words and a little culture to their little one! The poems are cute and fun to read!
