It's a Must!
This is a must have with a Mr. Steam generator. Just go ahead and add it on. It keeps the water fresh for each use.

It's An AutoFlush Valve and it Flushes
I don't know if I'd say that I love an auto flush valve, but it's supposed to extend the life of the steam generator so I felt it necessary. It's proprietary to Mr. Steam so they can charge whatever they want and I think it's overpriced for what it is but you really have no options. Our plumber said it's well made and should last a lifetime.
