After years of pulling my rumpled, sometimes stained or ripped sketchbook out of my bag, I decided enough was enough. As an illustrator, my sketchbook goes everywhere with me, and taking it in and out of my bag all the time takes a toll. I'd seen these types of portfolios be used by fancy business people to keep their fancy business documents nice, so I figured what the heck? What's the difference between a sketchbook and a coil-bound shareholder report?I was actually really worried initially that there wouldn't be a side-loading inner pocket. The product specs boast that the top-loading inner pocket can hold any size of notebook, but as much as I looked I couldn't get a square answer as to whether there even WAS a place to insert a notebook bound on the long side instead of the short. I took a leap of faith and ordered it anyway, since I liked the zipper and the simple but effective pocket layout. It turns out that you absolutely CAN fit a long-edge-bound notebook in this, and that it actually works quite well! My sketchbook fit perfectly and it stays secure, not moving around or getting stuck. When I took it on an international trip, it managed to survive three weeks of travel and being haplessly shoved into my backpack without so much as a scratch, a pulled zipper, or a broken seam. It was a huge relief to know that my sketchbook was protected.I would also recommend this product if you have a sketchbook because the pockets are excellent for holding art supplies! It's really nice being able to just pull out my portfolio and start working instead of having to hunt down a pencil or dig through my case for an eraser or replacement lead. It also made drawing in small contained spaces like airplanes a little more convenient, since all of my supplies were in easily accessible pockets and not (where they usually are) tucked into my hair, my pockets, or falling between the seats. I also use the business card slots to hold my own business cards, as well as any cards from artists I meet out in the world.Overall, I've been very pleased with this product! I had mixed expectations going in, but I am very glad I bought this. I would highly recommend this product to other artists of all kinds of you use a pencil and paper at all, and even if not, there's a pocket for your iPad. :)

Absolutely love this. Similar to my brown one. I purchased 2 with 1 being a Christmas gift for my sister who's in the real estate field. This is going to be perfect for her.

Nothing extraordinary about this, wish it didn't have a big logo on the front. Does what a portfolio should do. I do get a kick out of fake leather being called vegan leather.

The advertised photos of the product arriving with an enclosed notepad and gift box were not included.this was extremely disappointing, as this is a Christmas gift and I expected it to arrive as pictured with items above included.

I've used leather portfolios and vinyl and they have quickly gotten ruined with humidity and use. This looks durable and professional. It has a zippered pocket, and it's just what I was seeking. Glad to find it at this price too!

Love my binder, hoping it will help me actually stay organized now haha. Definitely makes it look like I know what I'm doing when I pull it out to take notes from clients 😂

It's a beautifully made and packaged folio, however it allows for very little to be added before its bursting.Useful for presentation and first impressions tho, ..
