So far I have had no problems with it. I read a bunch of the questions asked to get a good idea of what I was getting into. I learned several things.1. Some of these things block your WiFi card and will stunt your signal. This one in my experience hasn't.2. People are wondering if the super drive will work with this HUB. I have an LG super/multidrive from 2014. It works just fine with this HUB. I copied a CD from one of my friends bands that I bought recently to support them during Covid-19.3. Concerns about it overheating. I have not used every port at once. I just used the HDMI and the Superdrive together and the HUB was a little warm but I did not feel like it was overheating at all.I have not tried it with a new external drive. I have an older one from 2016 that has its own power supply and it worked just fine as well.Altogether this is perfect for what I need. I've seen some for double the price and took a chance on this one. It works just fine. I highly recommend it. You won't find but one YouTube review on this thing and it's not a great review. No details.

Omg, this is incredibly useful! Madly in love with this small gadget. It has been so annoying after MacBook changed to Type C USB port. It difficult to carry a regular USB hub with a cord since it’s easy to be misplaced when you don’t use it. This particular USB hub is so useful. The color goes very well with my computer. It’s very thin and stylish. I don’t need to unplug the hub at all; super convenient. Very very happy with this purchase

In order to upload photos and videos of my SD card to my computer, I bought this converter. Its transmission speed is very fast up to 5Gbps, and supports a huge 2TB capacity. For a moment, all my files were uploaded. Other ports also have a super speed, such as the the speed of 2 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C ports also work at 5Gbps. Definitely a must have for MacBook owners. Like most of you probably can relate, I wish I had hdmi input, usb, and also memory card slots on my max but unfortunately all I have is 2 usb-c inputs. This makes everything so much easier and it’s honestly one of the most useful things I’ve purchased as I use it everyday now. It’s lightweight and compact which makes it very mobile and easy to take it on the go. Everything I wanted for my Mac in a single product!

ProsThis hub is great at what it does. I am using the 13" M1 macbook pro which needs more ports for usb and HDMI out. This hub provides these features without taking away the original usb-c data and charge ports. Also, the card readers are a nice bonus and make this a handy addition to my laptop bag.ConsThe HDMI is always on. To remove the second screen from my mac, I have to disconnect the HDMI cable. To remove the HDMI cable, I have to remove the hub because it takes some strength to put the cable in or out and the hub is not secured into the macbook. This is my primary complaint, the hub does not secure into the macbook the way other usb-c plugs do. I had other powered usb hubs connected to this hub to connect external hard drives and if the macbook shifted, the hub unplugged un-mounting my active drives.

This product is a great value and works really well. I did encounter that the USB A ports were a bit of a concern when first trying to plug in a device but after forcing it in the first time, whatever was clogging the entrance of the connecter was shaved off and now works well. It may be a 1/1million thing but it was a concern. Now I hope to be able to use this for a very long time!!!

I've been using it last like 2 weeks. I really wished my macbook came with this device. I mean older laptops had all these ports but apple made it smaller and got rid of all the ports except usb c. Its amazin how this small USB C ports can handle HDMI and LAN cable and memory readers at same time.This device has been working like a charm and just the same as OEM device. Strongly suggest buying it and keeping it with the macbook all the time. 'cause you're gonna need it.

I'm going to start this off with the fact that I have the 2020 Macbook pro.Build quality and design, great. Do all the ports work on my computer nope. The type C port for me doesnt even charge my computer while in use. Which defeats my workflow as a professional. One of the usb ports when trying to use my external monitor doesn't connect as well. I'm having to buy a different dongle that is just one corded usb-c instead and no i'm out like $30 bucks.

La probé con una MacBook Pro 15” de, 2019, los puertos usb funcionaron bien, pero al conectar un monitor 4K a se desconectaba y conectaba constantemente como si tuviera un falso contacto haciéndolo inservible

Frustrante esperar 18 dias para a encomenda chegar e ela não funcionar no equipamento que ela se propõe funcionar. Além do material do hub parecer ser bem frágil
