When Apple switched to USB C in the iPad Pro, it opened tons of possibilities. Unfortunately, we only have one USB C port in the iPad and that restricts us from pushing the iPad’s capabilities. Fortunately, this USB C hub is available to push iPad’s capabilities further.At first, I was skeptical about having this dangling on my iPad and might break if accidentally bumped. But the magnetic holders are strong enough to make it feel like this dongle is just part of the iPad. It won’t move easily with accidental bumps. First thing I tried is the HDMI, and it just works perfectly on every monitor that I have. I also tested the USB C with a portable 2K monitor, and it powered the external display without issues. Although I would strongly suggest connecting either your iPad or the external display to a power supply as it will drain your iPad’s battery quick. I love having the SD card readers available. I am starting to get used to editing my photos and videos in my iPad, and these card readers just made transferring media even faster and easier. I don’t really use 3.5mm audio jack, but it is good to have in case of emergency need.So, at this point, everything works for my use case with this USB C hub. I have nothing to complain about. If you do a lot of productivity tasks in your iPad Pro, you should definitely carry this with you all the time.

This was one of the first things I bought for my brand new iPad Pro 11”. It adds the following functionality to my iPad: MicroSD card reader, HDMI output, headphone jack, USB C, USB 3.0. These are probably the most important things missing from the iPad that you’d find on traditional laptops. The great thing about this USB C hub is that the plug is extra long. This is great for those of us with an iPad case that may inhibit a regular hub to fully connect via USB C. However, if you don’t have a case, its still not a problem as inside the package is also a thing plastic strip that you can attach to the hub to make the the length of the plug be more normal.As for using this hub, as soon as I put a SD card in, the iPad recognized it right away and brought me into the Photos app, and to the import tab to choose which pictures I wanted. I also was able to charge my iPad at the same time via the USB C port of the hub. The hub looks great and doesn’t seem out of place on the iPad. I’d recommend this to anyone looking to be more productive on their iPads. Check it out on Amazon!

Great usb c adapter for my new iPad pro 12.9", extend the only usb c port of iPad pro to a usb c port and 5 more ports licluding a HDMI, 3.5mm deadphone interface, USB3.0, SD/Micro SD card slot. All ports works well with my iPad and the color match the space grey iPad. Good quality and very protable. I will recommend it to my friends.

I love that I can finally plug in my memory card from my camera and copy over photos to share with friends and family via shared albums or post straight to Social Media. Product has a nice "Snap" when plugged into iPad Pro. I was also able to use this on a Surface Go to be able to add a USB A connection to the Surface. This device has multiple uses.It also has a nice blue LED on it when it is connected to the iPad or to a power source via USB C. Highly recommend this to anyone with an iPad pro looking to expand the capabilities of the USB C Port.

The adapter itself is lightweight and compact design, very easy to carry with my iPad pro, the space grey color is same to my iPad. This little hub is a Godsend for your iPad Pro – using it on my 11” with the iPadOS 13 beta, I’m able to take full advantage of the USB port for external drives and media, and the headphone port is the cherry on top. Unlike other bargain hubs, this one is smart enough to allow sound to continue playing from the iPad’s speakers when it’s plugged in, and only acknowledges the USB audio interface when headphones are plugged in – a great design consideration.The only issue I had initially (which was easily resolved when I figured it out) was that the included spacer had the internal magnets turned in the opposite direction of their intended design, so the bar was being actively repelled every time I tried to get it set up... fortunately, the magnets are easily accessed beneath the black tape on the inner track of the spacer, and turning them over was a quick fix. Now everything works like a charm!Quite pleased with it overall – if you’re not going to need more ports (like additional USB-A and Ethernet), then this super portable hub is the one you’ve been looking for.

Didn’t work with my iPad Pro 2020

It broke fairly fast. Head phones stopped working when it was connected. The fitting became quite floppy.I was happy at first, but after a week of using it I was scared it would break inside the port.
