I had tried many shampoos and sprays and nothing seemed to work, after 2 vet visits already I really couldn’t afford another. I took a major risk and tried this and within the first week my dog was all cleared up and doing so much better! The ingredients are much safer then most other prescription strength shampoos and sprays, it also helps a lot with dry skin and makes fur nice and silky soft. When you first apply the shampoo, it is a rich thick texture and lathers up well, but once it sits the lather goes down don’t can be tricky to rinse, but once the water runs clear you know you’ve gotten it all! It’s pretty easy to use because of that! Definitely recommend it.

I've always used the shampoo for my dog because this is what the vet recommended. She is a mixed Golden retriever with just about all the golden retriever looks so she has that long hair but it gets dry feeling sometimes and I had been using mane and tail conditioner on her but I figured this would be much better and they had it on sale so I got it. And oh my! She is so beautiful after I give her a bath and it lasts a lot longer it seems than it bathed her without it or with the other conditioner. I will definitely be buying this again and again for my girl.

First use I let it sit there for 15 minutes. Lathered it into her skin real good and let it sit there and set the timer. It didn't have much effect using it one time. I used it a second time today. The first time I saw very little improvement. Second time I'm seeing a really big improvement. I also bought a flea medicated shampoo a few days ago and used it today, on top of the shampoo I bought here. This time I'm seeing a huge difference. I probably let it sit for 10 minutes today on her skin but I used it twice in today's bath. To ensure that it was getting into her skin where she's having skin issues. We're having a flea problem right now and I have to bathe all my pets today w the flea medicated shampoo. It did kill the fleas and eggs off of their skin. I used this medicated shampoo from Amazon on two of my dogs who were having skin issues. My third dog does not have skin issues. My two dogs that I used the medicated shampoo on, I am seeing a huge improvement today. So I will wait another week to use this shampoo on them again. Hopefully more improve a third time. Wish there was some type of permanent solution to completely get rid of them scratching their skin but that just might have been the fleas biting them. Hopefully the flea issue will die down soon.

this stuff is amazing !!!my dog had horrible dandruff and kept gnawing at his lower backside.I used this the day I received it and it has worked wonders.I don't see one speck of dandruff.I followed the instructions although only left it on for a minute or so because I think it is impossible to leave any shampoo on a dog for 15 to 20 minutes without your dog licking it...but it works great !very pleased !!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’m giving this product 5 stars because it works and it solved our dog’s fungal problem after going to the lake one weekend. The smell is quite pungent though. If you can handle the smell then I recommend you try this product. If you are sensitive to strong smells then I suggest you look elsewhere. It worked quickly and my dog’s skin and fur was back to normal within a couple days.

Over the past several months our 4 yr old cattle dog developed severe itching, and a heavy doggy odor -- nothing we've ever had with him before. Working with the vet, we've addressed possible infestations, we've changed his diet to extremely low allergy foods, but he still suffering at about the same level of itching. Our vet recommended shampooing with Mal a Ket, and we've gone through a bottle of it. Because of his continued itching, I read a lot of reviews and then chose this shampoo to try next. In truth -- the poor dog is still itchy, much to the dismay of the whole family, the vet, and especially the dog. BUT -- I will say that his odor has much improved. With the Mal a Ket, the odor would improve for a day or so, then return... but with this shampoo, it actually seems like there's been a change in his system, and the odor is pretty much gone. That's a huge win, even though we're still trying to figure out the itching. The negative about this shampoo --- it does stink, especially if you smell it in the bottle. But thankfully it only leaves a very slight tarry odor on the dog, and considering the improvement in the overall doggy odor, I'm perfectly happy with that. Another comment -- it does NOT leave the dog's hair shining and glorious, as is indicated in other reviews. It's clean and fine, but actually, is hair was always silky and shiny, even at the worst smell and itch -- so with this shampoo it's actually not as soft and shiny as has always been his normal. That's a negative, along with the fact that it just didn't work on the itching. Positive is that it's easy to use, and rinses out easily -- and works on the staggering doggy odor. All in all, mixed for me. When this bottle runs out I'm going to try something else, hoping it will leave him more silky, with a more pleasing shampoo scent. BUT --- if the doggy odor returns, I'm going straight back to this stuff, no question.

I bought the pack of two different ones honestly I thought they were gonna be bigger but I had an empty 16 ounce body wash bottle I just mix them together and shake it up real good and so far me and the dog only used them once but together they actually smell pretty good. This is like a preventative maintenance thing for both of us well I spent $20 again I doubt it maybe

Great shampoo, really gets your pup clean, and if you are worried about mites, this will do the trick. I was worried about my pup letting it soak for 10 min, but I kept him occupied during that time and it went by quick. He smelled great after the bath and his coat was shiny and soft!
