Mark Twain Basic Economics Workbook, Financial Literacy Books for Grades 5-8, Money, Taxes, Budgeting, Principles, and more, Classroom or Homeschool Curriculum

As I prepare the homeschool curriculum for my 6th grader I often filter through many math lessons and weed out what I feel is unnecessary. This book is a must have and has real world, useful information from cover to cover. I've included some pictures of what you can expect from this workbook.Another awesome feature is the perforated pages, which will make it easy to copy the pages and save them for my 4th grader.

bought for my grandson for homeschooling. He is learning well with this in the values of money and other parts of this book that it covers. Great value as well.

This book covers a wide range of topics in basic economics, and I think this is a decent book for homeschooling parents or teachers in the classroom that want to hand out review worksheets. It didn't really fit my own purpose, but I did find that for matters of review or homework pages, it is actually pretty good. If you are teaching new topics, then this is not the best resource. You will still want to have other resources to teach major topics. This book is handy for homework pages that give additional practice for what you already taught in class. For homeschool situations, I can envision going through this book with my child and still needing to use other resources, but it does make a great book for extra practice. It's just not ideal for the classroom.

Very helpful for students learning how to appreciate their money. Balance bills, write checks etc

My 7th grader enjoys the lessons because they are relatable.

Its a good work book, but it does need updatd. For example, it has a loan application in it, which is ok but they aren't used anymore.

Great overview on economic topics, but the examples and lessons are a little outdated. Publisher could really do a updated version to make it more applicable.
