HOMZWood Clothes Pins, 96-Count

These are the best. Walmart in Hastings doesn't carry them anymore. I protect these ones from my family because they can actually keep clothes on the line to dry, even denims, on a windy day in the boondocks. The ones that I had to buy, out of desperation, are the ones my family uses on chip bags.

These Chinese-made wooden clothes pins LOOK like the quality US-made clothes pins that we like & prefer, BUT the very weak metal spring tells the true story, sad to say. Very disappointing esp. for the price.Time will tell of course, about durability (esp. "springiness," if spring rusts, will wood break, etc.), the other aspect of this product that is extremely important.

I've been really disappointed in the cloths pins for sale these days. I still have some of the old spring clip cloths pins from more than 15 years ago. They have a strong spring that you could hold a 15 pound baby on a cloths line. The wife bought a pack of clothes pins at the dollar store a few weeks ago. The spring wasn't much larger in diameter than a small paperclip and the pin literally came apart in your hand when you tried to use it.I perused Amazon and found the Homz/Seymour pins. The reviews were mixed but generally indicated these pins were similar to those produced in the "old days". What the hey, they were less than $7 for a pack of 36 so I ordered them. I compared the spring size to the cheap-o's from the dollar store. It was significantly stouter than the cheap pin and didn't fall apart when used. While they were not as good as the pins from the "old days", they were good enough for general use and certainly superior to the cheap dollar store variety.

Super happy with product. I have been looking for these heavy-duty clothespins in the area where I live but was not able to find them. The stores where I live only have regular clothes pins. We receive 10-15 mph winds on a regular basis and regular clothes don't keep heavy items like jeans and bath towels secured on the clothes line. These heavy-duty clothes pins have done the job very well. They have a great grip and my heavy items like jeans and bath towels stay on the clothes line even when the winds pick-up. (I use 5 heavy-duty clothes pins per item.) So far, the quality seems good. I received them in the time expected and the packaging was good. I would definitely recommend.

About a third of them are rusty. One broke when I pinched it. They mostly work and I’m using the rusted ones for darker colors.

Pretty sure these would be worthless to "hang clothes" but if u like arts and crafts or want to do something involving clothes pins with your kids then go for it. I used it to hang photos with twine as decoration. Worked out nicely. They're not meant to hold anything heavy.

The spring is next to worthless. We used these to try to string Halloween treats on a clothesline. They wouldn't hold. Can't imagine trying to use them for wet clothes. Worthless!

I found the same for the same amount at a store for $4. I thought they’d be a bit bigger or sturdier but nope.

They work.. but that's all I have that's positive to say about these. They're easily broken, and get skewed just by pinching open.I'd look elsewhere.

Ordered them online because I needed clothespin, but they were overpriced for what they are. Definitely did not save money on this bundle.

Not quite the size of my other ones I purchased from someone else and definitely not as good quality

springs not as strong as I would like...a lttle wider pins might help
