It is what it is
Well there's not much to say really is there? It's a glass lid that fits the instant pot. It arrived quickly and in good condition, it's well made and does it's job. I use it on my Duo Evo and find it very useful for yogurt making,for slow cooking , for non pressurised steaming and for using the pot on the hob . If I have one criticism it's that when I use it on the hob or for steaming the handle can get a bit hot.

Excellent - so glad I bought one
I took a punt on this after reading an article on "pot-in-pot" cooking, (porridge). I bought this a YEAR ago - and its now time to do a review. Price / value is personal: that said this is very solid, not flimsy steel, and I suspect it will last a lifetime. I am totally sold on pot-in-pot: my "oats" are sooooo much better than using the outer pot, since the water is in the outer pot - you have much more control over how "wet" you make whatever is in the inner pot without getting the "burn" error. Another advantage is that the size of the pot makes cooking smaller portions "easier", and its more dishwasher friendly. 100% happy with it.

Great addition to my instant pot. Makes it much easier to check on the foods progress when using the slow cooker function as he lid supplied is fiddly to remove

Extremely useful second pot
Extremely useful second pot for my Instant Pot cooker and I've also used it to put into the oven and to replace my mixing bowl. The litres are displayed clearly inside the pot and it washes well by hand and in the dishwasher. It does stick like any other stainless steel pan and I've had a few burnt bottoms on my stews but it is strong enough to withstand a good scouring with a metal scouring pad and comes up nice.The only complaint I have with the Instant pot is that I ordered an 8 litre pot and it clearly states 8 litres on the packaging but inside the pot the maximum volume is 6 litres. so the 8 Litre Instant pot is only really 6 litres.

Happy with the purchase!
This lid perfectly fits my instant Pot Duo. (5 litre). It also fit a skillet I needed a lid for, as well. Reasonably good quality, but not very heavy. It is useful when the saute mode is being used, and you need to be able to see the food as it cooks.
